Communication breakdown can occur at any time and in many different settings.
There's Group Project Anxiety: everyone has great ideas at discussion meetings, but you feel like the only one with a sense of urgency to get any actual work done. There's Discussion Frustration: whenever you engage in a discussion with your group, you feel as if your thoughts and ideas are not valued or brushed aside with no regard to your feelings. And finally, there is just sheer information overload: why is it that after a full day of school, you feel completely zapped of energy, consumed by an overwhelming need to be where people are not?
We all realize that we are social creatures. We seek out and thrive within interpersonal relationships.
We long to be heard and appreciated, to create and explore. This is probably not new information. Rewarding as they may be, however, relationships of every type are complex and not without their difficulties. People are different. Where we come from, our experiences, our beliefs, and our DNA all go into who we are, how we see and interpret the world, and how we communicate.
Many corporations have invested large sums of money in consultants with one goal in mind: to improve inter-office communication and efficiency. Where do you begin? The communicators, themselves! Knowing who you are helps you to better understand how and why you communicate the way that you do. Knowing who your co-workers are can help you better understand how to communicate with them more effectively and efficiently.
So, as Aristotle taught centuries ago, we will begin by seeking the wisdom that comes from knowing ourselves. Here is a link to a personality inventory: http://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test. Once you complete the test, you can have your results emailed to you, and you can read all about your personality type: how you relate to others, how others see you, how you work, etc.
The test takes about 20 minutes, but it provides a wealth of information as it analyzes four distinct areas of personality and then adds a fifth area that analyzes overall identity. It is created from a combination of the infamous Myers/Briggs and Carl Jung's Theory of Psychological Types. The four areas are explained as follows:
1. Introversion vs Extroversion: (I vs. E) This is more than just "shy" vs. "outgoing." In fact,
according to Jung, it is really not about that at all. It has to do more with where you get your energy. Do you find yourself getting energized when you are around others, or do you find that you need to be away from people to re-energize?

They tend to have strong discernment in new situations. Sensing or Observant individuals are practical, pragmatic, and down to earth. They tend to have strong habits, and rather than going with their gut, they are more focused on what has happened or what is happening.
3. Feeling vs. Thinking: (F vs. T) Feeling individuals are sensitive and emotionally expressive. They are more empathetic and tend to be less competitive than Ts. They tend to focus on social harmony
and cooperation. Thinkers focus on objectivity and rationality, prioritizing logic over emotion. They tend to hide their feelings and value efficiency over cooperation.
4. Judging vs. Perceiving or Prospecting: (J vs. P) Judging personalities are decisive, thorough, and highly organized. They value clarity, predictability, and closure, preferring structure and planning to spontaneity. Perceiving individuals are good at improvising and spotting opportunities. They are flexible, relaxed, non-conformists who prefer to keep their options open.
Identity Variables of Assertive vs. Turbulent: (A vs. T)Assertive types are confident, self-assured, and pretty resistant to stress. They do not push themselves too hard. The turbulent types are self-conscious and sensitive to stress. They are perfectionistic types who experience a wide array of emotions.

For example, I am an INFJ - T. This was absolutely no surprise to me, but a big surprise to those who know me, as I come across as an extrovert (SO not true!) I think this is because I am also an empath and deeply care about and love people! I am also a J, but BARELY. I need to feel organized in my environment, but DO NOT open any of my desk drawers--although with the inspiration of Mrs. Cassidy, I have become MUCH better! For a long time, I would score as right-brained (although it would be pretty close!). This year and the last two, I am testing as 50/50! A balance of both (Hurray!). Finally, I am (still and always!) firmly in the House of Gryffindor. Now, it's your turn!

1. After taking the test, I was an ISTP-T.
ReplyDelete2. This did not surprise me at all as every time I’ve taken this test I’ve been an ISTP-T, the percentages of each trait may be different but they’ve always produced the same result. Additionally, while reading the longer descriptions and strengths and weaknesses sections, I strongly related to much of what it stated, unfortunately primarily the weaknesses. I was partially surprised that my observant/S percentage was 65%, making it my second lowest result, though I expected it to be way higher than it was.
3. After taking the test, I was 58% left brained and 42% right brained, the same overall results as last year but the percentages changed. Last year when I took the test I was 52% left brained and 48% right brained, while the results remained the same and the numbers remained relatively close, interestingly the second digit of the percentages swapped. I think that these results match my personality and both support and are supported by results from the MBTI test, as they both highlight my preference for rationale and objectivity.
4. While last year I was sorted into Hufflepuff, this year I was sorted into Gryffindor. I’m surprised it changed, however, as someone who knows borderline nothing about Harry Potter, I don’t know how big of a change that is or what it says about me.
After taking the tests, the first one told me that I am an ENFJ-A (Protagonist), which is what I got last time, learning about this last year I was kind of surprised with this but when I got it again I really took time reading about the protagonist and asked the people who know me it really did make a lot of since for me. The second showed me that I am more of a right brain thinker, which is very true so I wasn't surprised that I got it again with the percentage being 59% right brain and 41% left brain. I really like to be creative in what I do and really follow emotions and falling on instincts. For the final test I once again got ravenclaw for my house, I feel that it make since through I don't really know a crazy amount about the houses, it does say that ravenclaw values intelligence, wisdom, and creativity above all, so based on the fact that I use more of the creative side of my brain based on the other test.
ReplyDelete1. On the Four Letter personality test, I was classified as an INTJ-T(Architect).
ReplyDelete2. Unsurprising, because it describes me fairly well. Additionally, I am introverted when it comes to being with people in conversation, usually preferring to stay alone or quiet when working.
3. I also did the left-brained or Right-brained test, and the results were shocking as I was 83% left-brained and only 17% Right brain because I thought I would be considered right-brained, mainly because I thought it corresponded with my dominant hand being right.
4. Lastly, I completed the Harry Potter house quiz and was put into Hufflepuff, which was surprising because I thought I belonged in Gryffindor, but it makes sense because of my dedication, patience, and loyalty in moving forward as a fellow scholar.
On the left and right brain, I totally understand why you might believe it corresponds to your writing hand. There actually is a pretty accurate correlation, but it is the opposite: right-brained people are often left-handed (left hand corresponds to the right brain), and right-handed people are often left-brained for this reason, as well. However, it is not exact. I think it has to do with how we are educated when we are very young (first 5 years), how we play, and our environment, as well!
DeleteAfter taking the tests, the first one told me I am an EFSJ-T. Upon reviewing my score, I was quite surprised since I feel more of an introvert than an extrovert. Reflecting on my quiz score, it makes sense since I’ve played beach volleyball for Odyssey, been promoted from lifeguard to swim instructor at work, driven more often, and have become more social. Then, for the second quiz, my results revealed that I am left-brain inclined. Again, this was also interesting since my score from last year revealed that I was more right-brain inclined. Lastly, I have been sorted into the house of Ravenclaw.
ReplyDeleteAfter taking the 4-letter personality test, I realized I am an ISFJ (Defender), which I believe resonates with who I truly am due to my liking to help people with no reward and keeping an eye on detail on things or those around me without any say. The only aspect of the test I disagree with is how I am 53% introverted. I believe I am more 20-30% Introverted when I am in a setting where I don't know anyone, but I'll get to a point where I'll make at least one friend.
ReplyDeleteFor the Left/Right-brained test, I was surprised to find I am 64% left-brained and only 36% right-brained, due to my belief I'd be more left-brained ( a higher percentage ) than right. But I do use my imagination a lot, especially when I draw, which makes sense why a large majority of me uses my right side of my brain as well.
Lastly, for the final test, I was a Ravenclaw. I believe I am fit for Ravenclaw due to mu liking for Luna Lovegood in the Harry Potter movies, overall leaving me satisfied with my results.
My personality type is an INFP-T, a Mediator. This is surprising as it differs from the last time I took this test in almost every way; however, the result still makes sense and feels like an accurate representation of me, which is surprising due to the high contrast. Along with this, I am more right-brained with a side of art than left-brained, with the difference being 54% to 46%. Lastly, after taking the Harry Potter test, I have discovered that I am now a Hufflepuff, which comes with great sadness. These tests surprised me as they have all changed since last year when I took them. So much about me has changed in a year, and leaves me pondering if I am, in fact, the same person.
ReplyDeleteThis does happen in the formative years! You are the same person - you are just becoming even more of who you are meant to be. :)
Delete1) I got the personality INFP-T
ReplyDelete2) This did not really surprise me since that is what I got last year. I feel I have not changed that much since the last time I took the test, so I expected the same result.
3) I got 51% left brained symbolic, which is different from last year(52% right brained creative)
4) I got Slytherin this time, which honestly surprised me because I got Gryffindor last year.
The personality type I got after taking the test is ENFP-T, the campaigner. I think this actually fits me quite well with my limited knowledge of the different personalities. The results I received is that I am more left-brained. The interesting thing is that my results are almost evenly split with my left brain being 51% and my right brain being 49%. The Harry Potter house that I got is Hufflepuff! I am very happy because this is the house that I have always identified with and I find many of my own personality traits fall in line with this house. Something that is interesting is that all my results are exactly the same.
ReplyDeleteI have yet again received INFJ-T as my result, which has been my assigned personality type every time I’ve taken one of these assessments. I do feel that this type represents me well, as I would consider myself to be a very idealistic person, motivated by my desire for fairness and justice as well as my strong emotions. Like last year, my results show me as being very left-brained, but my results have lowered to a much more even 63% to 37% ratio, while the previous year was 82% to 18%. Hopefully, that shows that I have grown into a much more creative and intuitive person than I was last year. Lastly, my Hogwarts house sorting as a Hufflepuff remains unchanged. Same as last year, I have never read, watched, or played any Harry Potter books, movies, or games, so my insights are limited. However, based on the knowledge I do have of its characteristics, I believe it accurately represents my desire for fairness and my strong, unwavering devotion to my friends and family.
ReplyDeleteThe personality type that I received is an ESFP-T, the “performer.” This did not come as a shock to me, as I usually tend to put myself out there by making silly jokes with my friends and trying to bring energy to the people around me. ESFPs are known for being spontaneous, social, and fun-loving, which definitely reflects how I enjoy spending my time and connecting with others. I was also not very shocked to find out that I am more right-brained, as I often lead with emotion rather than purely factual decisions. I find myself drawn to imagination and empathy, which makes sense since right-brained thinkers often rely on intuition and expression over strict logic. Finally, I discovered that I am a Hufflepuff through and through! This, of course, did not come as a shock to me, as Hufflepuffs are known for their loyalty, kindness, and strong sense of fairness. They tend to follow their moral code, which is something I strive to do whenever I am faced with a difficult decision. Altogether, these results gave me a clearer picture of how my personality, thinking style, and values all connect, reinforcing how I see myself in both everyday life and bigger, more meaningful choices.
ReplyDelete1. I am an ENFJ - A, the protagonist.
ReplyDelete2. This is surprising to me, as I do not think of myself as a protagonist. However, I do agree that I am good at understanding people's emotions and motivations. I also agree that I tend to know what others need before they themselves realize it, as I do give good advice.
3. I am 58% left brain and 42% right brain.
4. I am a Huffelpuff!
1. I received INFJ-T, the advocate.
ReplyDelete2. I expected to get this personality type as it is the same one I received last time I took the test and the description fits me pretty well.
3.I got left-brain inclined (Rational) with left brain 58% and right brain 42%.
4. I am a Ravenclaw.
1. After completing the test for a second time after a year, it was ENFJ-T (the protagonist).
ReplyDelete2. According to the test, it changed slightly from last year, last year I was an ESFJ-T. As I reviewed my results, not much was very shocking to me. I fully agree that I am a deeply empathetic person, who is truly in touch with their emotions, and I crave genuine relationships with people. It additionally does not shock me that I am considered a "natural-born leader" because I am usually drawn to leadership positions in most of the things that I do regularly. But something that kind of shocked me was that it said that I do not usually prioritize structure which I feel like does not align with how I am because I am always someone who needs consistency in most, if not all things, that I participate in.
3. When I took the right brain vs. left brain test, I found that I was more right brain inclined but not by much (right brain: 52%, left brain 48%). I found this incredibly interesting because last year, I leaned more towards one of the sides than the other. But, I think in some ways this makes the most sense because my logical side is rooted in my approaches to academics but my emotional side is more in regards to how I handle my relationships in life and the activities that I do outside of school. For example, outside of school, I have hobbies like sewing and painting that allow me to be more creative and artsy.
4. When I retook the Harry Potter test, I still got the same result, Slytherin, which I completely agree with because of my ambition and determination in everything I do.
1. INFJ-T (Advocate)
ReplyDelete2. Not much really surprised me about my results. It talked about having "perfectionist tendencies" which I know for sure I have, because I feel the need to always be successful and perfect in everything that I do. I thought it was also funny how one of my weaknesses was overlooking small wins because as someone who always feels like they're falling short, I definitely know that I overlook other accomplishments in my life. I also know that as much as I try not to show it, I'm a highly emotional person on the inside so I'd say my results very much fit who I am.
3. When I took the test I found that I was right brain inclined (52% right-brained and 48% left-brained). This makes complete sense to me because I'm a much more art and music inclined person because I've grown up completely surrounded by it and I feel I've always just been super creative in everything I do.
4. My test result was Ravenclaw, which is usually one of the two results I get when I take Harry Potter tests. I generally either get Slytherin or Ravenclaw, which I feel I'm a good mix of both, but probably a bit more on the Ravenclaw side.
1. After taking the test, I was an ESFP-T.
ReplyDelete2. Everything seemed very expected; extroverted, with a desire to live in the now. I also have a tendency to avoid tedious tasks and manage my time effectively, which showed up in the test results.
3. After taking the second test, I found that I was left-brain inclined, symbolic. I was almost a perfect split, but 57% left-brained, of course, which makes sense as I do enjoy categorizing, yet I do have the ability to "read a room", but I do not like to induce change much either.
4. After taking the Harry Potter test, I was a Hufflepuff. Do not attack me, but I have never watched Harry Potter! I am not sure if that is good or bad, so I am not able to speak on it at this moment. Apologies!'-Jayden Guerrero
1. After finishing the test, I am a ENFJ-T (Protagonist).
ReplyDelete2. I am not too surprised with the results because during my junior year I definitely came out of my shell a lot more and expanded myself to hangout with different groups of people. I also surround myself with new adventures and fun opportunities this time around for my senior year.
3. After finishing the second test, I learned I am Right Brain Inclined, Creative. To me this fits perfectly since I use my imagination to create the best possible outcomes and trust my instincts a huge percentage of the time. My results also show me being more into the artistic and musical side of things, which I see to be very accurate since I always listen to music and constantly using art as a strength.
4. The Harry Potter Quiz determined me to be a Ravenclaw.
1. I got a ESFP-T (Entertainer)
ReplyDelete2. I am kind of surprised with what I got because I am not always able to adapt to a room setting and vibe very quickly. I do agree with how I am able to have a vibrant energy but maybe not all the time. I do try to live in the present and worry about what is going on in my life currently and not the future.
3. For the second test, I got left brain (rational). This took me by surprise because typically I am someone who is more relaxed and goes with the flow. I was surprised to see how I typically follow order and worry about data. Whereas I definitely think I do follow order and want to have a routine, but I normally go with what I think will work out best for me.
4. For the Harry Potter Test, I got sorted into Hufflepuff.
After taking the 16 Personalities quiz, I was determined to be INTP-T, the Logician. After reading more into my personality type, I agree with its categorization because I am meticulous about my work, but in a disorganized process that can be a hindrance at times. The personality quiz indicates that I have an intellectual curiosity and a penchant for abstract thinking, which I believe is accurate, as I strive to remain informed in my day-to-day life. Then, I discovered I was right-brained at 63%, which accounts for creativity rather than analytics. Finally, I was sorted into the Slytherins, which I found surprising as I had never considered the house before. I discovered that Slytherins are known to be resourceful, ambitious, and possess self-preservation, which I can relate to and attribute these traits to myself.
ReplyDelete1. The result I got was INFP-A
ReplyDelete2. Overall, I am not too surprised by my results, and I would say the personality trait is a good place to see where I feel and think on many things. I am not surprised that I am smack dab in the middle of extrovert and introvert as while I don’t seek out conversations or meeting new people I am not against it. I also expected assertiveness to be on the higher end because it takes many things to knock me into a bad mood but only one or two to get me to feeling good. It does scare me a little with the accuracy of the results though, as there were only one or two things I didn't do that it predicted.
3. I’m also not surprised that it turns out I’m 76% left brained because everything clicks for me pretty fast, especially things science or math related. But I can definitely feel the 24% of being right brained as my memory is pretty bad. I should sleep on my right side to equal it out.
I got the Hogwarts house Slytherin, which matches because my favorite color is green. - Jacob Retana
Gwendolyn Carricart
ReplyDeleteMy results for the test concluded that I am an ENTJ-A. These results were not a shock to me as I read further into my description and found myself relating a ton. I did expect my results to show highly self-critical traits as well as goal-oriented traits that allow me to live my life and not waste time living someone else's life. However, I disagree with the results stating that I am overly critical of others, as I do believe that I am highly over-critical of myself, but when it comes to others, I am only a healthy level of critical. I am primarily left-brain rational. I am a Gryffindor.
1. The test concluded that I was an INTJ-T, or an architect.
ReplyDelete2. The results make sense given my tendency to, among other things, stay organized and make decisions based on facts. The test also said I was an introverted person, which mostly makes sense when considering my quietness in most social interactions. All this being said, the most shocking part of the test was that there were no areas where one trait was significantly than the other. All of my winning traits had less than 59%, meaning that I take an almost equal amount of behaviors from both sides.
3. The results from my left vs right brain test concluded that I was 67% left brain and 33% right brain. Once again, this makes sense given how I typically prioritize thinking with facts over my emotions. My love for math also makes this result seem valid.
4. My Harry Potter house is Gryffindor. This was very surprising since I have taken the test before and got Ravenclaw.
-Alex Rogers
I am an INTP- T or a logician. This wasn’t a surprise to me, in fact it was very accurate. My parents were just laughing as they read it and said “wow there is an accurate personality test out there.” I often get lost in deep thought about abstract ideas or different worlds like a dreamer. It definitely makes it hard to pay attention when I’m not interested and I often miss smaller details in stede of understanding larger concepts. I am highly independent and deadlines aren’t a problem for me but I forget to do my chores all the time, forget not choose not to, forget. I am definitely introverted, a thinker, self critical but very cognitive. I got a very even split on the brain, 53% left brain 47% right brain. I think I have changed a lot recently and it would have been like 80% 20% just a few months ago. I am embarrassed to admit after all these years I am still a Huffle Puff. I haven't changed since I was a little kid and read the books for the first time. Miles Berendsen
ReplyDelete1. I got INFP-T (Mediator)
ReplyDelete2. I am not too familiar with the different personalities, so I can't say that there was any one that I was expecting to get. What surprised me was how accurate the description was about how some aspects of my personality serve me positively and act as my faults. The word turbulent struck me the most because I relate what it means though I did not realize it on my own.
3. In the brain test, I determined that I was a left brain- Digital. This comes as a bit of a surprise because it classifies me as logical and intellect based which I don't relate to. It was pretty close to a 50/50 split, so I guess that makes more sense.
4. I was unable to retake the Hogwarts House quiz and that upsets my soul. The last time I took the test I was a Ravenclaw which is super cool and somewhat accurate, but I have been acting based on my emotions lately so maybe I'm a Huffelpuff. #IdentityCrisis
-Loren de Guzman
1.After taking the test, I got ENFP (Campaigner).
ReplyDelete2.I am not surprised, since I felt like the information resonated with me, since I do feel like a lot of the information about what a Campaigner is and what they usually feel felt like it was often describing how I feel at times too.
3.For my left/right-brained test, I got 60% left-brained and 40% right-brained.
4.For my housing test, I got that I was Slytherin. I think Slytherin is cool and everything, but I wish I could redo it because I have always loved Ravenclaw so I am so sad that I wasn’t in my favorite house.
-Elizabeth Garcia
1. I got ISFP-T (Adventurer)
ReplyDelete2. I agree with a lot of the traits and characteristics that were given. I would much rather indulge in something artistic like learning a song or drawing in a new medium in my free time. I also don't set out schedules for my everyday life, as I mostly just get done what I need to when I have the time. Whenever I get stressed I am able to keep a level head about my situation and continue on, rather than becoming frustrated over it and not being able to move past it.
3. For the left brain/right brain test, I got 60% right brain, and 40% left brain. This surprised me a little bit as I notice myself being more analytical in some situations that don't necessarily need it, but I do tend to lean more into my reasoning and creativity side.
4. For the Harry Potter housing, I got Gryffindor. I love Gryffindor and I am so happy that I got this. I had taken the test a couple years ago and got Ravenclaw, so I might have changed since then.
-Parker Dolan
1.) I got ISFP from the test. Otherwise known as an adventurer!
ReplyDelete2.) This is not a shock to me, my friends and me all agree that I fit the attributes when it comes to ISFP, I'm more introverted that I am Extroverted although I consider myself an ambivert but I think the main reason why the test gave me the ISFP label is because I am a artist at heart before anything else, and I am emotional, and love to experience new things when it comes to creativity and this creativity continues to outshine all of the things I do, in fact it tends to come out in my work not related. I am incredibly empathetic, and my feelings and empathy are the reasons I value the people I am around, and ISFP fits that perfectly.
3.) Now, my left and right brain test, I got more right-brain inclined, 57% right brain and 43% left brain. I'm surprised I'm not more left-brained if I am being honest. I just expected to be more left-leaning than smart/practically leaning.
4.) My housing test, I got Hufflepuff. I've always been a Hufflepuff, and I'm glad I haven't changed one bit when it came to choosing my house. I am super happy with my outcome and quite shocked that more people aren't. As before, being a Hufflepuff was basically everyone, so I am glad I'm a little special, and it's my favourite house. Though the other tests upset me, I think you should be able to retake some tests for fun.
-Lillie Edwards
1. INFP-T (mediator)
ReplyDelete2. I’m not very familiar with the types that are displayed on this test, but I think the descriptions are fairly accurate to what I think of myself, maybe not what other people think of me. I’m definitely introverted to such an extent that people seem to think I’m uninterested, even if that’s not the case at all. I’d also like to say that I’m empathetic, sometimes overwhelmingly so, but it’s a trait of mine that I cherish very deeply.
3. I got 69% right brain on the second test, and I wouldn’t say it surprises me. Even if I perform adequately academically, I’ve never really enjoyed just logical thinking and would much rather pursue a creative passion even if I’m awful at it in comparison.
4. For the Harry Potter housing test, I got Hufflepuff, and I am completely indifferent to this. I don’t really know what it means but I think the word sounds funny, so I’ll take it.
-Tatum Eleopulos
1. ESFJ-A (Consul)
ReplyDelete2- The majority of my results did not come as a huge surprise to me; I had expected to fall within the range I had mentioned beforehand. As an example, I believed that I was going to be more observant than intuitive, and it turns out I was correct. The one thing that did come as a surprise to me is the test saying that I was more extraverted rather than introverted, because I think of myself as more introverted, opposed to being extraverted. So that came as a surprise to see that the test thought that I am extraverted.
3. As for the Left and right brain test, it showed that I am 68% left-brained and 32% right-brained thinking. This does validate my thinking as I am more of an analytical thinker, organized, and strategic person.
4. As for the Harry Potter house quiz, my results were Ravenclaw. Since I had never read or seen Harry Potter, I had to do a little bit more research into what the results actually meant. So I found out what it means to be a Ravenclaw: to value wisdom, wit, and learning, often characterized by a strong thirst for knowledge, creative thinking, and an open mind. Which, in retrospect, does relate to me.
1. I got ISFJ-T (Defender)
ReplyDelete2. My results were slightly surprising to me as I didn't anticipate myself being an introvert, but in the end, most of the other data makes sense. For example, I am more turbulent than assertive. This aspect wasn't sudden to me; I am more inclined to be stressed and self-conscious about myself, possibly being the root of why I am more introverted. However, something that did surprise me was that it defined me as more judging than prospecting. I feel like most of the time I act on a whim, so seeing this was out of the ordinary.
3. In terms of the Left and Right brain test, it showed that I am 66% left-brained and 37% right-brained. Although I was thoroughly disappointed that I wasn't 67% left-brained, this aligned with my predictions, as I tend to favor analytical data over creative aspects.
4. In the Harry Potter House quiz, my house result was Hufflepuff. I haven't watched this series, so I am oblivious to what this might entail; however, I do remember taking another sort of this test and getting the same result, so it could most definitely mean something.
-Aiden Castillo
1. My personality was INTJ - T (Architect)
ReplyDelete2. I think the test was very accurate and I’m surprised that it worked so well, not surprised by the results however (except for one thing). I am very analytical and curious, just like the test said. The part where it says I’m very self-reliant and I work best independently is definitely true, although I am trying to broaden my horizons a little. The one thing that actually did surprise me was that it said I am more introverted than extroverted, as I don’t think this is the case. I would say I am very outgoing and an extrovert, so seeing that surprised me.
3. My brain test was pretty balanced, and I am 55% left brained and 45% right brained. I don’t really know what this means, but I think it means I am more analytical? The top word I saw was digital, so maybe it means I am good with technology.
4. My house was Ravenclaw. I have never seen or read any Harry Potter stuff, so I have zero clue what this means, but I hope it’s good! I like the blue and I also like the bird symbol so that’s a good sign.
- Gabriel Gaspar Jiménez
1. my personality type is INFJ-T I was not too surprised because it was very accurate to me. I'm more introvert and I am more feeling and intuition over anything.
ReplyDelete2 I am 55% left brain and 45% right brain almost completely even, however I was surprised because I have always thought that being left brained meant you were good at math and so I expected to be more right brained.
3 My Harry Potter house is Slytherin and I was very surprised because the last time I had taken the test when I was 11 I was ravenclaw and I think it fits me more but I guess maybe I have changed from that time.
-Lola Baldonado
I am an ENFJ-A., Most of this was not surprising for me. I know that for most of them, I would be closer to the middle, which was indeed true. I knew I would fall under the extrovert category, but I thought I would be classified as Turbulent, not Assertive. Reading the results helped me gain more understanding. I strive to be open-minded and view situations from different perspectives, which explains my N. I do place a lot of value on cooperation, unity, and togetherness, explaining my F. I am not the best organized, but definitely not the and I value structure, explaining my J. I believe my A comes from being able to calm myself down and know that things will work out. I am left-brain inclined 65%, which makes sense for me. Finally, I am a Gryffindor.
ReplyDeleteAfter taking the personality test, I am an INTJ-T. I was not surprised as this is the same result I had last year when we took the test. The description allowed me to understand my drive behind some of my ideas. It described that I approach life with a strategic mindset and I find this completely true. I tend to plan my ideas rather than making spontaneous decisions. I am left brain dominant. This result was not surprising at all because I prefer analytics over creative methods. Finally, I was sorted to a Ravenclaw.
ReplyDeleteAfter taking the personality tests, I got the personality INJF-T with being an advocate. This was honestly both shocking and expected because a lot of the time I do try to do what’s best and not base something solely on what is said, but what I believe, but also I do not feel like I always form strong relations with people based on understanding their emotions. I also found myself relating to wanting to be a perfectionist, as I typically always try to be perfect and try to complete activities until I feel they will satisfy me, but it also causes me to be more stressed. When doing the left or right-sided brain test, I discovered that I am 82% left-brained and 18% right-brained, with my brain being more symbolic with the dominant left side. This shocked me as there are times when I think using both logic and feelings, but I do, though I typically overanalyze situations. Finally. I was placed in the House of Ravenclaw.
ReplyDelete-Paityn Schroll
My personality type is INTJ-T. This honestly did not surprise me much. Though I am extroverted with my friends, I am introverted in every other aspect. I do not like to speak out in public or go out and talk to people I don’t know, so it is fitting for me to have this personality type. I think this is just a matter of comfort for me. I become an introvert in areas I do not feel comfortable in. With friends, I am comfortable, so I feel extroverted with them but a majority of the time I am not. It turns out I am more left-brained inclined at 51%, which did surprise me as I thought I was more on the creative side of things, not the side of numbers. My house is Gryffindor, which makes sense for my high level of determination. But, I have never tested for a house so I have no idea if it is accurate.
ReplyDelete- Dilini Marasinghe
My personality was identified as an ESFJ-T. When I read the description, I was not surprised by my results as my personality was detailed as one that relies on organization as well as social interaction. I feel that I am also caring and considerate as the test determined. I scored as a left-brained person which also aligns with my personality as it describes me as an individual that is organized and thorough in decision making. Finally, my Harry Potter house is Hufflepuff.
ReplyDelete1. My personality test resulted in the fact that I am an INFJ, or an advocate.
ReplyDelete2. I was not exactly surprised at any of my results, truly, as I am a highly efficient organizer and am extremely introverted. I tend to be more open-minded, and there are times when I feel I could potentially make a difference and therefore find it in myself to act upon it, despite my lack of drive to do so at times. I do have many younger family members to care for, which does make sense as to why my personality would result in the need to care for others. The mention of how my personality type does not have many relations, yet the few we have are all genuine, I can only agree with this sentiment. I was surprised, mainly in part to my strengths, as I would never consider myself to be strong in the matter of being passionate, yet I can see the correlation in certain aspects of my behavior.
3. The test provided that I am 68% left-brained and 32% right-brained. This makes perfect clarity, as I do not often find myself prioritizing emotions when making major decisions or even trivial ones. I do consider myself a bit of an analytical thinker, so the fact that I lean more on the side of being left-brained does not surprise me. That being said, I also feel the 32% of right-brained thinking I amass on a daily basis also makes perfect sense, as emotions and creativity can be applied to literature and other forms of personal expression I often find mentally stimulating and enjoyable.
4. As I took the test, I was proclaimed to be a Slytherin. Needless to say, I was incredibly surprised as all throughout the novels, Slytherin members are known to often be negatively connotated, and yet as I read the descriptions, I could find myself in some qualities. I suppose I can be clever at times, but I am surprised I was described as “cunning”.
Duniya Ahmad
The test concluded that I am a Defender ISFJ-T. This was not a surprise to me because my sensitivity to others’ emotions is both a blessing and a challenge. I care about how something would affect someone else, not just how it would just impact me. After taking the left and/or right brained quiz, I resulted in a left brained inclined person. I am 63% left brained and 37% right brained. I would agree with this because after reading about a left brained person, I am very organized and am also interested in the engineering field. For the Harry Potter quiz, I tested in the house of Hufflepuff. -Cadance Skok
ReplyDeleteThe personality test had concluded that I'm a ENFJ-T Which is a protagonist. I'm honesty super surprised. I would have never describe my self as a "main character". When i looked up the personality traits of a " protagonist" i would 100% describe my self like that. I took the second test on if i am a left brain or right brain. The test told me that
ReplyDeletei'm a more left brained them right and i can agree with the test because i like to be more organized when it comes to work on things for school or doing my chores at home making sure i get them done during a time period to do other things. 4: The house i got is Ravenclaw. i have always knew i was a Ravenclaw since back in 2019 when i took the test the first time.
-Anabel Salazar
The personality test said I was ENFP-A. Some of this comes as a surprise to me. I would place myself as an introvert rather than an extrovert, but in the same breath, I don't prefer doing things alone most of the time, so it could make sense. The test also concludes that I am self-assured. And I would say that is fair. I was placed as left-brained at 73%. I fully agree with this. I like to be analytical and organized. I don't appreciate a lot of art or music that others do, so I'd fully agree with this. I was then placed in Hufflepuff. I'm not fully educated on what that entails. But I'll accept it.
ReplyDelete-Austin Schmidt
The personality test determined that I am an INFJ-T. I was a little surprised by this because I think I’m more sensing than intuitive. The personality test described me to a T with the types of introversion, feeling, judging, and turbulence. I do tend to be an open-minded and curious individual, but I do prefer stability over novelty; I find greater comfort in it. Based on the right-brained or left-brained quiz, I tend to have a pretty good balance of both: I was 54% right-brained and 46% left-brained. This makes sense because I do love expressing myself through the arts, I have my headphones playing 24/7, and I like it when I’m given more creative freedom with tasks. Still, I do also prefer to make approach decisions analytically and rationally. I got sorted into the house of Ravenclaw! Ravenclaw is probably my favorite house. I love Luna and, weirdly enough, was really drawn to the Grey Lady ghost.
ReplyDelete-Elvie Hathaway
When I took the four-letter personality quiz, I was described as ESFJ-T. These results shocked me because my whole life, I was told I was introverted, so it was shocking to see that I am more extroverted than I am introverted. I’ve always seen that I am observant of everything and notice things that most won’t even mind looking for, so seeing that result as one wasn’t quite a shocker. I’ve also been told that I am emotionally sensitive, so seeing that I make decisions based on feeling, then intuition, with feeling at 90% also makes sense, and the traits of Judging and Turbulent weren’t much of a surprise to see on the results. When I took the either side of the brain quiz, I was described as being more left-brained than right with a 64% left brained and 36% right brained. Which shocks me in some areas, while in others, not so much, such as being more objective than memory. Overall, though, seeing that I am more left-brained, it does make sense rather than being right-brained. I’ve taken the Harry Potter house quiz once in the past and right now, and both times I’ve been Hufflepuff, which is not much of a shocker because, out of the houses, I think I relate more to Hufflepuff than the others.
ReplyDelete1. My personality type was INFP-T (Mediator)
ReplyDelete2. This was not very surprising to me because I have taken this personality test before and got similar results. The traits that go along with this type are very accurate to my personality.
3. After taking the test, my results showed that I was 54% right brained. The right side of the brain is most associated with art, emotion, instinct, creativity, memory, imagination and music. I consider myself a creative person, so these aspects are true to my personality.
4. My Harry Potter house was Gryfinndor. I was pretty convinced that I was going to be a Hufflepuff, but getting Gryfinndor was a pleasant surprise. I do not know what traits differentiate the houses, but I am definitely satisfied with my results.
-Bella Pinnick
My personality type was Mediator INFP-T. I was not surprised by the results and could sort of predict them. I know I am definitely an introvert and not an extrovert so I was not surprised by that. I wasn't entirely sure whether I would be intuitive or observant but after looking at my results I am definitely more intuitive. I was a little bit surprised between thinking and feeling because I do feel that I think a lot more, but they were also almost 50/50. For prospective and judging I definitely would have been more prospecting than I got because I do think about the future a lot but for the judging part I do want to have some sort of a plan and not be completely spontaneous. For the last one I would definitely say that that one is the most accurate with turbulence being 93% because I can get stressed very easily and am not so much of a calm person. After taking the brain test, my results showed that I am 60% left brained which I would say is very accurate. I am a very symbolic and analytical person, but I do use my imagination a lot to think of different ways to do things which is where I think the 40% right brain comes in. For my Harry Potter house I got Ravenclaw which is what I guessed I would be. I would say it is very accurate except for the witty part because I don't think I am a very witty person.
ReplyDeleteBraelyn Skok
My personality type is INFP-T (Mediator). Honestly, when I got the results, I was kinda shocked, but I agreed with it. It turns out that I am an introvert, which is not completely true because when I am around people who I am really comfortable with, I am a totally different person (one might think I’m a natural extrovert lol). I also agree with the result that I’m very imaginative (I am, I write stories and I love to draw and make oc’s), open-minded (very true, I am open to new ideas and perspectives), impulsive (yeah, sometimes I just a c t and not think about the consequences which puts me in a lot of trouble lol) and self conscious (yeah, I often worry about what others think, even if it may not seem that way.
ReplyDeleteI also found out that I’m more left- brained; which is completely NOT TRUE in those terms. And also my Harry Potter house is Hufflepuff. I don’t know much about Harry Potter, but I think Hufflepuff is a cute name so I’ll go with it.
Ashley Small
My personality type is ENTP-A (Debater). This is no surprise to me and I fully agree with the results. My dad has a very similar personality type to mine so this is accurate. I am 60% left brain inclined, my Harry Potter house is Hufflepuff, not exactly sure what that means but there ya go.
ReplyDeleteHunter Williams
When I was in middle school (at least last I checked) I was an ESTP personality, but after taking the test again it said I was ENFP-T. I was surprised to see such a change at first, but after thinking it now makes sense. I am still just as social as I was, now maybe even more so, but I've gained a bigger empathetic emotional intelligence. Alot of my decisions now are based on how I'd feel if I was someone else, rather than just doing what I wish. I think the change came from a different maturity in perceiving others rather than a personality change.
ReplyDeleteOf course my Harry Potter house is a Gryffindor since day one!
I also found I was 59% Right brained which is no surprise since I know I'm a very creative person.
Ariana Bills
I was ranked an ENFJ during the four letter personality test, but at first it was hard to figure out who I was since I am not normally a “main character” type or anyone who naturally takes the spotlight. But when I read the description, I thought a lot of it was understandable – empathy, willingness to connect with others, and wanting to develop relationships – but I felt these traits did play out in the way I act when I was in group situations or with friends. It was also interesting to note that I was 58% right-brained and 42% left-brained, which seemed to be accurate because I tend to be more creative than logical, and I tend to depend on imagination, imagination, and instinct rather than strictly logic, though I have another analytical side when I need it. Finally, the Harry Potter quiz sorted me into Slytherin, which was surprising since the house hardly gets much of its fame, but when I looked more carefully at it, I found that ambition, determination, and resourcefulness really do apply to me, especially when I am striving to achieve a goal and finally, even though some of the results seemed strangely unexpected, I can see what they are all in place and reflect who I am.
ReplyDelete1. I am personality type ENFP-T.
ReplyDelete2. I wasn't exactly surprised by this, but I don't think it to be entirely accurate. I do love being very creative and expressive, but I also love the safety of formulas and rigid steps of doing things; and it's hard to get both sides of that in a survey like this one. A lot of the questions were also on my ability to be creative or be open to new people and ideas, but not so much as to if I enjoyed them. Those who know me would probably say I'm an extrovert, and while I can be if I must, I usually prefer to keep to what I'm used to.
3. I'm more left brain inclined, though the breakdown is 53 to 47, so not an astronomical difference. This makes sense to me as I feel I can have a nice balance of expressive and rational.
4. I was placed as a Hufflepuff which surprised me and I don't think it is entirely accurate again. The length of the actual test seemed so short and in the past I have been placed in Ravenclaw on a multitude of occasions, which is a large foil to Hufflepuff. I think the method of finding the house is in itself flawed, but interesting nonetheless.
I am personality ESTP-T
ReplyDeleteI am not particularly surprised by this. its probably accurate.
I am left brain inclined
I am from the Raven Claw house.
I am a personality type ENFJ-T.
ReplyDeleteI was not really surprised but honestly got this weird feeling of being uncovered, but it was almost disturbing because it felt weird for a test to describe me, and even given me percentages on the kind of person I am, it made me start to question myself, and really reflect on who I am.
I'm right brained primarily with a right brain percentage of 54% and a left brain percentage of 46%, I wasn’t surprised at all, I am definitely more inclined to more creative and weird kinds of subjects.
I was somewhat surprised to be assigned to the house of Gryffindor but overall more happy to be assigned to the house of Gryffindor, as I can somehow, only truly see myself being in that house, just seems right.
-Kaeden Sabatina
My four-letter personality after taking the test was listed as INFP-T, also known as a Mediator. I was generally very surprised at how accurate my result was, and how much it exposed me to some of my most common strengths and weaknesses. I also found it relatively eye-opening for that very reason, allowing me to examine flaws that I might subconsciously ignore otherwise, and what I could potentially do to improve them. After taking the left/right-brained test, I found out I leaned more towards being right-brained, with a balance of 41%-59% and a tendency to rely more on emotions with interests in art and creative pursuits. However, I was also put in Ravenclaw after the Sorting Test, a house often renowned for critical thinking and academic capability, which I thought was somewhat contradictory and interesting.
ReplyDeleteI was identified as an INTP-T which is kind of weird for me. For the longest time I used to be an INTJ-T which made sense. I think the reason that it changed was maybe because I have become so busy recently that I have pushed everything off to the last minute to give myself time. I think that when I become less busy I will go back to the way that I used to be, I simply think it depends on when I am taking the test. I don't think this is necessarily the way I am I just think it is the way I am right now especially seeing that it was practically 50/50. So anyway, I was kind of shocked by this. Additionally, I was deemed a right brain individual which makes no sense for me because my memory is horrible. Finally, the Pottermore quiz classified me as a Slytherin. Have a great day!
ReplyDeleteMy personality type is ENFJ-T(Protagonist). This came as a surprise because in the past I have always gotten a personality type who is driven by being emotional and introverted. I am not surprised about getting a personality with good communication and understanding skills, I feel like those are two strong qualities that I have. I am 60 percent left brained and 40 percent right, this surprises me because in the past I have always been right brained and I am not good at math. My Harry Potter house is Ravenclaw, this does not surprise me as I usually get this.
ReplyDeleteMy personality type is ISFP-T. I wasn’t too surprised by this as I know that I can more introverted than extroverted, although I am a good amount of both. I also know I’m very creative and artistic and I have been since I was young. I am also observant, empathetic, loyal, and admittedly sensitive at times and prone to stress. I am equally left-brained as I am right-brained so I am a perfect balance of both. My Harry Potter House is Ravenclaw and from what I’ve seen they are known for their wisdom, wit, creativity, and willingness to learn new things, which sounds a lot like me.
ReplyDeleteMelina Lupercio
My personality type is ENFP-T(Campaigner). Honestly, I am not surprised at all by my results. I think the description of a campaigner fits me perfectly. It does say that I am more extroverted than introverted, which is one thing I have to disagree with. I think I can be really awkward sometimes, and I am not one to walk up to someone and be able to think of things to say immediately or keep a conversation going. One thing about me is that I can sit in comfortable silence if that person is as well. I completely agree with the fact that my mind is very fast-paced and my mind never stops racing with thoughts, which can cause disorganization with what I need to do. I am right-brained inclined: Music. My Harry Potter house has always been a HufflePuff.
ReplyDeleteMy personality type is INFJ-T, which was surprising since I used to be an extrovert when I last took the test and now I'm more introverted. The description called out how I have difficulty confronting conflict in relationships, which is true and felt accurate, and it also said I'd be good in healthcare because of my empathy, which makes sense since I do vet science at West MEC. For the brain test, I'm left-brained, so I'm more objective, and logical. However, I don't know if I necessarily agree with that since I feel I am more attracted to things the right side focuses on. For the Harry Potter quiz I got Gryffindor, but I don't know anything about Harry Potter so I don't know if it's accurate.
ReplyDeleteDamian Rosales
ReplyDeleteThe personality type I got was INFP-T which is not surprising because it's actually the same one I got last year. And similar to last year I feel that this personality type is definitely pretty accurate. I still have my strong ideals, love for creativity, and I think even more so this year deep empathy for others. I've taken this quiz a couple times now and the fist time I took it in 9th grade I got INFJ-T, which is described as a "turbulent advocate", apparently it's also the rarest personality type for men. If you asked 9th grade me he would agree full-heatedly, but having been humbled by life and new struggle I definitely feel INFP-T fits me better, (also bolstered by the fact I got it 2 years in a row. I'm simply not as turbulent as I once was. The only thing I'm on the fence about is whether or not I am as spontaneous as this personality type may seem, and I'm probably a little more ambitious as well. Brain wise, according to the website I'm "balanced", last year I leaned 4% more to right-brained. I feel like this is more accurate this year but I still don't really jive with numbers. I logged back in to the house sorter, and I am a Gryffindor which I'm pretty sure I've always been so yeah pretty accurate.
1. INTP-A
ReplyDelete2. Not really. I know myself pretty well and I know my boundaries and what I like to do. I already know im an extremely curious person and this just said so as well. I also realize that I am assertive with my opinions sometimes and what I want to do. Overall everything came out the way I think I am.
3. Im more right sided in my brain, a little more about art and instinct. Its 46% left and 54% right.
4. I am a gryffndor. I have no idea what this means but Harry Potter was in it so I'm glad I am.
I tested as an INFJ-T which isn’t entirely surprising but also not fully expected. The most surprising result for me was that my results showed I was mostly introverted rather than extroverted. The least surprising result was that I tested into the judging personality, which my friends would probably agree with. For the brain test, I got left right balanced which is interesting. Lastly, I wasn’t able to take the Harry Potter test so I’m not quite sure what I tested there.
ReplyDelete-Sophia W.
ENFJ-T
ReplyDeleteThis came as no surprise to me; I’ve taken this test before for a previous school year, and I got the same result. I’ve grown in openly communicating with new people, so I agree that I can be somewhat extroverted; however, I would still consider parts of my personality to be introverted. I wholeheartedly agree with the other areas I’ve been placed under. I scored as 70% left-brained and 30% right-brained, although I don’t entirely agree with the results of this test, considering the fact that several of the questions had options where I aligned with neither. Lastly, I am a Gryffindor.
-Kyarah Charles-V.
The results that I got from the personality test were INFP - Mediator. I believe that these results fit my personality, along with the associated traits like creative and empathetic. I got a perfect 50/50 split for the left and right-brained test, which I also believe to be accurate for myself. I was surprised by the sorting test, which I got Ravenclaw for. I wouldn't say that I personally don't possess the traits that make me a Ravenclaw.
ReplyDeleteI tested an ENFJ-T - Protagonist. I think that these results were similar to my personality. I do like to make a positive impact on the world, and I like to be a leader. Secondly, for the right or left side brain test I got a left side of the brain result. I would say I do agree with this because I do fit the characteristics of being rational and having a set order for doing things. Lastly for the Harry Potter test I was a Hufflepuff.
ReplyDeleteMcKenna Woods
I am an ESTP-T, which came as no shock to me because I would consider myself extremely outgoing and energetic. No matter any situation I am in I can work with my surroundings and can blend in any social gathering. I like to approach life hands-on and logically. This also tracks as I am a left-brained inclined individual. I would consider myself extremely observant and a problem solver in order to reach success. And lastly, after taking the test, I belong in the Gryffindor house.
ReplyDeleteINFP-T. Nothing really surprised me considering nothing really changed since the last time I took it. I shifted one more percent over to extroverted and prospecting dropped down to only 68%. I am left brained but it is pretty close. Honestly wish some of those questions would have had a both or neither option. Also, I am still in Ravenclaw.
ReplyDeleteMy results from the personality test were INFP-T. This isn’t surprising to me, as I feel deep empathy towards anyone and find myself unbiased towards others, even if I don’t like them, as well as knowing that everyone has a reason for everything, and you just simply can’t change that. The strengths and weaknesses of this personality trait immensely define me as well. For the brain quiz, I got mostly right-brained, which I didn’t really expect, but only because I could see myself being both. For the Harry Potter house quiz, growing up, I would always retake the test, even doing them back to back, and I always got a different answer each time. This most recent take, I did it twice, and I got Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Now, this may be an error in the sorting system being as I always get different results, but I never really consider myself a Slytherin. I saw something recently that said that the houses don’t represent you individually, but by your beliefs and values. So, by looking at what each house values, I would represent myself as Slytherin.
ReplyDelete-Carah Brilhante
My personality type was ENTJ-T (Commander). This was not very surprising because I see myself as a leader in many situations. I feel like I naturally tend to take charge and become a “go-getter” oftentimes. Last year, my personality type was ESTP-T. The change made me question things a little bit because I didn't think that I could’ve changed that much in just a year. After reflecting on it, I can understand how my personality type has shifted. ENTJs are supposed to be more future-oriented, whereas ESTPs are present-oriented. As I’ve started my senior year, I can see how I’ve become more focused on the future and life after high school. I found out I am left-brained, which did not come as a surprise to me; I have always been more left-brained. This time, my Harry Potter house was Ravenclaw, which changed from Slytherin. I was not very surprised, as I can see parts of my personality fit into both houses.
ReplyDeleteI got ENFP – T, which honestly feels pretty accurate. I’m usually outgoing and curious, and I like trying new things or talking to different people. The only part that surprised me a little was how strong the “P” side came out. I don’t think of myself as super disorganized, but I guess I do prefer being flexible instead of locked into plans. On the brain test, I scored 50/50 left and right brained. That actually makes a lot of sense for me, since I can be logical when I need to be, but I also spend a lot of time thinking creatively. For the Hogwarts quiz, I ended up in Slytherin. At first I didn’t really expect it, but the more I thought about it, the more it fit. I can be ambitious and pretty determined when I want something, so I think it works.
ReplyDeleteThis is Lucy by the way:)
DeleteThis most recent test labeled me as INFJ-T: Advocate, though I have gotten a different result every time I have taken the test. Introvert is not surprising to me, I dislike being around lots of people for extended periods of time and prefer more personal, tight knit gatherings. N is not surprising either; I enjoy learning and trying new things, even though it is always a daunting prospect. Thinking vs feeling leaves me feeling conflicted. I often put a lot of stock in how other people are affected by an action and wish. This was a close score at 53%. to cause as little harm as possible, but other times I can straight up ignore those thoughts. Sometimes it is vicious. Judging vs percieving is another interesting one as I enjoy stability, structure, and planning, but I also like being spontaneous and improvising at times. This is reflected by a score of 51%. This is the other letter that changes every other time I take the test. Turbulent is not surprising whatsoever: I am not confident, I am self conscious and constantly stressing over one thing or another. I am left brained, more analytical than creative. Finally I was sorted into Ravenclaw.
ReplyDelete- Owen Elledge
I got INFP-A (Mediator), The test says that I'm a creative and mostly introverted person which I completely agree with. It says my creativity is a "wellspring of inspiration," one of my goals is to inspire others so that I also agree with. I scored a 50/50 on the brain test. I feel like whenever I'm given a logical situation, my brain switches to my left side but really, really slowly. I really have to take my time whenever I use either side of my brain because forcing out ideas would become a jumbled mess. As for the Sorting Hat, I got Gryffindor. I somewhat agree because in Harry Potter, wizards that are sorted into Gryffindor are usually the bravest out of everyone, and I don't really see myself that way because of my introverted mindset.
ReplyDeleteI was identified as an ISTP-T (Virtuoso). I find this result only somewhat accurate as the personality trait percentages themselves felt accurate, however, only parts of the personality description felt like they applied to me such as being adaptive and being mostly self reliant while traits like being a bold explorer that's driven by curiosity doesn't feel as accurate as I personally don't have a fondness in exploring new ideas unless necessary. I had a majority percentage on the left side of the brain which makes sense as I'm more interested in orderly and objective topics and use logic more than creativity. I was place in the house of Hufflepuff and based on what its description I'd say it makes sense as I'm a person who is loyal or at least attempts to be.
ReplyDeleteAfter taking the personality quiz, I was revealed to be a campaigner (ENFP). This surprised me greatly because every other time I had taken the quiz in years prior, I received INFJ. After reading the descriptions of both, I feel like in this season of life, I definitely identify more with ENFP and continue to see myself progressing away from INFJ as I grow into myself. I scored a 50/50 split on the right/left brain test, which is the same as last year. Unlike last year, I was sorted into Slytherin. Last year I was sorted into Ravenclaw, however, I am not very educated on Harry Potter lore, so I am not completely sure what either of those houses entail.
ReplyDeleteThe 16 personalities quiz categorized me as an INFP (mediator). This did not surprise me, as I have taken this quiz many times and have received the same result. Next, the right-brain left-brain quiz identified me as evenly split between both sides. I do not wish to sound negative, but the questions and answers on this particular quiz seemed very limiting to me, and tended to place responders into a box. Finally, the sorting quiz placed me into the house of Slytherin. Unfortunately, I am not well versed in the world of Harry Potter, so the deeper implications of this result are beyond my current understanding.
ReplyDelete1. After completing the test, I am an ENFP-T personality with my highest percentage being 72% turbulent and lowest being 51% prospecting.
ReplyDelete2. To be fair, I knew very little about these types of personality tests, as all the letters never clicked for me, and I never understood them. That being said, I did expect my end result because from what I’ve seen and heard of ENFP types, they all seemed to describe me very accurately to a certain degree. This test was ridiculously spot on in terms of every single aspect: career, personal growth, and relationships. Where the test hit the hardest, especially when it came to saying things I did NOT want to hear, is when discussing my weaknesses in my attitude towards myself and the harshness with which I establish. After seeing everything really put into words in front of me, it definitely changed my perspective just a little in how I see myself and how others see me regarding how I treat them. Overall, the test was very enlightening, and even though my weaknesses were so on point, my strengths were spot on as well, most significantly when meeting new people and being a person who doesn’t mind staying around as well.
3. The brain test told me that I am right-brain inclined, with emotion being the drive, as the stats were 59% right brain and 41% left brain. Once again, the final result almost exactly aligns with who I am as a person, which is a little scary for me to realize and see such traits in front of me and connect with them so deeply.
4. Lastly, I was sorted into the Ravenclaw house, which makes perfect sense to me (I mean, as much sense as someone who is not a Harry Potter fanatic can make). I resonate with the final decision quite heavily, and I’ve had people tell me that I am a Ravenclaw as well; therefore, it’s no shock when it comes to this answer. - Chloe Finch
On the personality test, I got ENTP, which is a debater. I feel that this personality type closely relates to me and how I am. I generally tend to be very outspoken which does come with both benefits and consequences but I love talking to people and expressing my ideas and knowledge to others, making me extremely extroverted. While mostly agree with this categorization, I often second guess myself and my knowledge. On the second test, I was told that I am a right brained thinker. I agree with this because I think that I am always open to new ideas and ways of thinking. I also enjoy forms of art more than math or other academic topics. I am more drawn to things like writing and music and I analyze everyone and everything. On the third and final test, I was told that I am a Gryffindor, which again, I strongly agree with. Generally, they are outgoing, brave, and determined. Under most circumstances, I am extremely determined, brave, and outgoing. I tend to again, be loud and unafraid to share my ideas in order to get me to the final product or goal. Overall, I feel like my personality and lifestyle closely matches each and every one of these test results.

I got Entertainer (ESFP-T), and honestly, I’m not surprised because it feels spot on. I’ve always been energetic and spontaneous, and I love being around people and trying new things. I also got left-brain inclined (Symbolic), with 51% left brain and 49% right brain. I feel like I have a pretty good balance between being logical and creative, but I’m a little surprised the left side came out higher. I always thought my creative side would take the lead, so it’s interesting to see how close the two actually are. For the last quiz, I got Ravenclaw, which really surprised me because I’ve actually never seen Harry Potter before. Even though I don’t know much about the houses, it’s kind of funny how accurate it feels. I guess it still matches how much I like thinking creatively and learning new things.
ReplyDelete1. I got INTP-T for my personality test, or turbulent logician.
ReplyDelete2. I had taken these personality tests before and I had gotten the same result, but I never really knew what each of the letters meant and just looked at the overall title. Now that I have read about each letter, I am not too surprised about what I got. The descriptions of each letter were pretty accurate to how I am with others and how I view myself. The strengths and weaknesses were also pretty accurate which was somewhat surprising since I don't usually believe tests like these to tell me about myself. The test was mostly accurate and although there were a couple things that I didn't align myself with on the test, it was still very interesting to see how accurate a personality test was.
3. For the second test I got 60% left brain and 40% right brain. The first time I took this test (last week) I got different results that were closer to 50/50 so it was interesting to see those results change in such a small amount of time.
4. I got Ravenclaw for the harry potter house which was very surprising since when I had taken other tests in the past years I had usually gotten Slytherin as my house.

1. I got ENFP - T for my personality test, also known as the "campaigner."
ReplyDelete2. I was supprised since it emphaizes that I am an extrovert? I don’t consider myself extroverted, not with everyone at least. There are people who give me the space or presence where I feel comfortable enough to let go and “yap” as i like to say, but around new people, I can talk well, but if I feel intimidated or our humors don’t compliment each other, I find it difficult to strike up a conversation and thus, I just refrain from saying anything at all. Some say I am shy because of it, but ive grown to see this as simply being reserved; thus I still think myself introverted to the general public. I also didn’t think myself the creative type. I like drawing and trying to play instruments, but not as serious to identify myself as creative I guess. I agree about the feeling part. My emotions play a big part of my life and decision making, though sometimes a weakness, I am proud of my emotional expression and have come to embrase it. Along with the pain, my emotional intensity has also brought me great joy.I agree with the second to last, I always go with the flow in a way.
3. Left brain. I find it conflicting since the first one said I am creative so I don’t really know. I dont really agree or disagree with a particular one.
4. Ravenclaw
For the most part my personality type changed. Last year when I did these quizzes I had gotten ENFJ-T (protagonist) and this year I got ESFP-T (Entertainer). Which is surprising, because I thought it would have stayed the same. Even though, both times it said I was more extroverted than introverted. To this day I like to say otherwise. What didn't change was me being a right-brained person and my Harry Potter house didn't change either. I'm still in the House of Hufflepuff.

I am an ISTJ, which is no surprise to me because I am a very introverted kind of person. I am also left-brained, balanced, which seems fitting because I am organized yet held back with scheduling and deadlines. I am also a Hufflepuff.
ReplyDeleteThis is Julian Salazar.
DeleteI am ENFJ-A Protagonist which was no surprise to me because I am a very extroverted person and love talking to people I don't know yet. Going out of my comfort zone and experiencing new things was also one of the reasons for me to do an exchange year so I think it fits pretty well. However, I was surprised being a feeling and judging person but the percentages were quite balanced with 53% and 51%. The description of my overall character traits seemed surprisingly accurate which strengthens the credibility of the test in my eyes. Furthermore, I was analysed as left-brain-objective with 60% which doesn't surprise me because I would consider myself an analysing person. My Harry Potter house is Ravenclaw.

I got ENTP debater probably because I like to talk about my opinions with other people and either hope they have the same ones or different. I am left and right balanced for my brain, because I am fairly equal when it comes to being clean and or solving problems. For Harry Potter I am a Hufflpuff.

I am an ENFP-T the Campaigner, I believe I got this because I have a tendency to make the plans and I am a talkative person and am able to put myself out there. I am Left Right balanced, 50% left and 50% right, this is because I may be messy and have a hard time with deadlines, I am still doing things in a more logical way and want to do things in a n orderly fashion. My Harry Potter house is slytherin.

I am an INTJ-T Architect. I believe I got this for my need to think rationally and my desire to understand what I see and hear. Rational thinking also includes having a game plan and envisioning how it will fall into place. I am 67% left-brained and 33% right-brained, once again because I prefer to deal with facts and analysis to make sense of the world that operate solely on emotional instinct and expression. Lastly, I received Gryffindor as my House.
