Communication break-down can occur at any time and in many different settings.
There's Group Project Anxiety: everyone has great ideas at discussion meetings, but you feel like the only one with a sense of urgency to get any actual work done. There's Discussion Frustration: whenever you engage in a discussion with your group, you feel as if your thoughts and ideas are not valued or brushed aside with no regard to your feelings. And finally, there is just sheer information overload: why is it that after a full day of school, you feel completely zapped of energy, consumed by an overwhelming need to be where people are not?
We all realize that we are social creatures. We seek out and thrive within interpersonal relationships.
We long to be heard and appreciated, to create and explore. This is probably not new information. Rewarding as they may be, however, relationships of every type are complex and not without their difficulties. People are different. Where we come from, our experiences, our beliefs, and our DNA all go into who we are, how we see and interpret the world, and how we communicate.
Many corporations have invested large sums of money in consultants with one goal in mind: to improve inter-office communication and efficiency. Where do you begin? The communicators, themselves! Knowing who you are helps you to better understand how and why you communicate the way that you do. Knowing who your co-workers are can help you better understand how to communicate with them more effectively and efficiently.
So, as Aristotle taught centuries ago, we will begin by seeking the wisdom that comes from knowing ourselves. Here is a link to a personality inventory: http://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test Once you complete the test, you can have your results emailed to yourself and you can read all about your personality type: how you relate to others, how others see you, how you work, etc.
The test takes about 20 minutes, but it provides a wealth of information as it analyzes four distinct areas of personality and then adds a fifth area that analyzes overall identity. It is created from a combination of the infamous Myers/Briggs and Carl Jung's Theory of Psychological Types. The four areas are explained as follows:
1. Introversion vs Extroversion: (I vs. E) This is more than just "shy" vs. "outgoing." In fact,
according to Jung, it is really not about that at all. It has to do more with where you get your energy. Do you find yourself getting energized when you are around others, or do you find that you need to be away from people to re-energize?

2. Intuitive vs. Sensing: (N vs. S) Intuitives are creative, imaginative and curious individuals who are open-minded. They tend to go with novelty over stability and see/feel possibilities. They tend to have strong discernment in new situations. Sensing or Observant individuals are practical, pragmatic and down to earth. They tend to have strong habits and rather than going with their gut, they are more focused on what has happened or what is happening.
3. Feeling vs. Thinking: (F vs. T) Feeling individuals are sensitive and emotionally expressive. They are more empathetic and tend to be less competitive than T's. They tend to focus on social harmony
and cooperation. Thinkers focus on objectivity and rationality, prioritizing logic over emotion. They tend to hide their feelings and value efficiency over cooperation.
4. Judging vs. Perceiving or Prospecting: (J vs. P) Judging personalities are decisive, thorough and highly organized. They value clarity, predictability and closure preferring structure and planning to spontaneity. Perceiving individuals are good at improvising and spotting opportunities. They are flexible, relaxed, non-conformists who prefer to keep their options open.
Identity Variables of Assertive vs. Turbulent: (A vs. T)Assertive types are confident, self-assured and pretty resistant to stress. They do not push themselves too hard. The turbulent types are self-conscious and sensitive to stress. They are perfectionistic types who experience a wide array of emotions.

For example, I am an INFJ - T. This was absolutely no surprise to me, but a big surprise to those who know me, as I come across as an extrovert (SO not true!) I think this is because I am also an empath and deeply care about and love people! I am also a J, but BARELY. I need to feel organized in my environment, but DO NOT open any of my desk drawers--although with the inspiration of Mrs. Cassidy, I am getting MUCH better! For a long time, I would score as right-brained (although it would be pretty close!). This year and last two, I am testing as 50/50! A balance of both (Hurray!). Finally, I am (still!) House of Gryffindor. Now, it's your turn!

I got ENTJ-T personality. They are commanders. This does not suprise me at all because I totally am like all of the things that the personality website said. I got this same result last year, but have become more like a commander. Last time I took the test I was like 60-40 on a lot of my results but now most of my results are about 80-20 for each letter. I also have become a lot more of an extrovert then I was last year. I took the left and right brained test and get left brain music oriented. This makes a lot of sense because I love music. I have been singing since I was a child and can pick of melodies and harmonies pretty easily. I also got a different Harry Potter House. I am now a Raven Claw and used to be a Huffle Puff.
ReplyDelete1. ENTJ-A-My Personality is the same as last year! I didn’t expect it to change all that much.
ReplyDelete2. Something that surprised me was that I have the same personality as Gordon Ramsey which is pretty funny. After I finished all of the tests a common theme that I noticed was that I have the same results as last year but with some minor changes.
3. I’m Left-Brain Inclined: DIGITAL, while last year I got Right-Brain Inclined.
4. I got Ravenclaw just like last year!
1. This time I got the personality type: ISTJ.
ReplyDelete2. I was surprised as my previous personality type was ENTJ, and before that, it was INTJ. After some thinking though, I've realized that all these personalities have the last two letters in common, ‘T’ and ‘J’ so I think they are more accurate to who I actually am. The varying first two letters, I've realized change based on how I feel about society and my friend group at the time. In the past, I valued efficiency and my intuition a bit more than I do now. I still greatly value these traits, but currently, I value communication and honesty a bit more, traits of an ISTJ. I believe this change is due to, now, how frequently I am annoyed with the increasing amount of people who aren't straightforward, honest, and who don't communicate their thoughts and feelings before much bigger issues arise. While these personality types are different, I believe they are all accurate/certain traits are accurate for who I am at the time. I bet it will change again, in the future, too.
3. I am more Left-Brained, around 70%, however this percentage varies sometimes.
4. I am a Ravenclaw! Which makes sense, however I also think being in Hufflepuff would be really cool.
1. This time I got the personality type, ISTP -T.
ReplyDelete2. I am not really surprised at all. Knowing that I am already mainly introverted with a little bit of extroverted in me and doing this true just gave me more validation that I know myself.
3. I got left right balanced. I think I got left brain last year which makes me wonder what I did different.
4. I got Slytherin (which is my favorite just because) so I have no problem there but I cant remember what I got last year.
My personality type is ISTJ. It mentioned that I am often insensitive, which I disagree with. I put up a front of being insensitive sometimes but I really overthink everything. It mentioned that I am stubborn and organized which is pretty accurate. The second test said I am right-brain inclined. 52% right brain and 48% left brain. For my Hogwarts house, I got Hufflepuff which is the same one I had last year.
ReplyDelete1. I was categorized as a ENTP-A.
ReplyDelete2. I expected this outcome as I have previously been categorized as the Debater in past years and correlate with other ENTP character types like Jack Sparrow, Jim Halpert, and Nick from Zootopia.
3. I am left-brained according to the website meaning I am more logical and well-off in interpreting language.
4. I am in the Ravenclaw house which I have been sorted in previously within the last year.
My personality type is ENFP-T. This result is slightly different from last year’s result where I got ESFP-T. The ENFP-T personality type is referred to as “the campaigner”, whereas the ESFP-T personality type is referred to as “the entertainer”. Although both are relatively accurate, I am more aligned with my current personality type. I believe that I am enthusiastic, as well as good-natured. I strive to get along with all kinds of people. Although many times I am relatively spontaneous and lighthearted, I do enjoy meaningful conversations and connections with people. The website says that some weaknesses of mine include people-pleasing, overly accommodating, restless, overly optimistic, unfocused, and disorganized, all of which I agree with. I hate the prospect of being disliked and desire to win people over. Furthermore, I have ever-evolving interests, so I find it extremely difficult to maintain discipline and focus over long periods of time. My result for the brain test was 50/50. I think that this is accurate, as I have been trying to make more balanced decisions. Last year, I was more right-brained, however, I do believe that 50/50 is a more accurate representation of my current identity. Lastly, I was put in the Slytherin House (identically to last year’s results). I really like how the test describes Slytherins as “sleek, powerful, and frequently misunderstood”. I frequently feel as if my words and actions are misunderstood, so I resonate with this description. However, I love all the other houses as well!
ReplyDeleteFor the first test, the personality test, I had received INFJ - A. I fall under the introverted, intuitive, feeling, Judging, and assertive categories. I agree with the results I have received, and i am surprised to see that my test results have changed.
ReplyDeleteMu results for the left brain/right brain test was 66% left brain.
My results for the Harry Potter house quiz was Ravenclaw which i was really surprised about because my last test I was a Hufflepuff and we all know that, that house is the least represented.
1- My results from the personality test were ENFJ-A.
ReplyDelete2- The test suggests that I “have an uncanny knack for understanding people’s emotions and motivations, often sensing what others need before they even realize it themselves.” I agree with this statement strongly because I always strive to be empathetic to others and their needs. It als mentioned I “thrive on meaningful connections and have a remarkable talent for bringing out the best in those around you.” I am happy with my results and feel they are accurate because I try to make everyone around me happy and fulfill their needs before my own.
3- On the brain test, I got 60% left brained and 40% right brained (Left brained- Objective)
4- For the Hogwarts test I got Slytherin which I was not surprised because I got the same last year.
1. I am an ENFP.
ReplyDelete2. Most of my results were as expected and did not change since last year. I think the percent of how much more right-brain inclined I am has changed a little but I don't remember the exact percentages. The only thing that surprised me was that my four-letter personality changed. I used to be an ISFP, which I think might be a pretty drastic difference.
3. I am more right-brain inclined.
4. I (still) belong to the House of Slytherin.
My personality was an INTJ, which is interesting because I am fairly sure that my personality type didn't have a T in it previously. I'm not very surprised, though, because I have changed quite a bit, and I've become more prone to keeping quiet and allowing my thoughts to simmer. I am left brained, which I am also not surprised by because I received that last time I took the test. My house is Ravenclaw. I'm not particularly sure what that means since I am not familiar with Harry Potter lore or anything, but I was a little surprised about this one because my house has always been Hufflepuff.
ReplyDeleteThis year I got INTJ-T, Architect. This is somewhat of a departure from last year’s results but is not too surprising for me overall. In the past when taking this test I have got Architect before and it is still a strategic and engineering-esque trait. I think the results could have changed in part due to random chance and carelessness while taking the test. Introvert, thinking, and turbulent all remained the same as last years. I still feel these are fitting, introverted definitely, while turbulent maybe not as much and I would like to be less thinking. All of the T vs. F questions felt kind of cold and I feel wrong being only on the side of logic, feeling and emotions are important and should be considered more, it is more important that people are happy than efficient as one increases quality of life much more than the other. Observant and prospecting changed to intuitive and judging. S vs. N is one I can understand changing as they both feel like they fit and are good and it makes sense that I am close to the line on that one. J and P both feel like they fit as well, but it makes sense that I have gone more into J as I have become more organized.
ReplyDeleteI got left-brained again on the left-right brain test, which was not surprising at all. I got a bit more left-brained, increasing by 2 points to 62% and I’m not as surprised this time. I have my results from last year and still enjoy looking at and discussing art even if I despise making it.
Finally, for the Harry Potter quiz, I got Slytherin again this year, I’ve got it before so it was not too surprising,

Delete1&2.The personality type I got was ISJF-T. Although I do not remember what I was classified as last year, I believe my results were likely very similar and that I have mostly stayed the same. The test named me as a “defender” and I believe the attributes correlated with that title accurately describe my personality.
ReplyDelete3. On the “left or right-brained” test, I got the result of left-brained inclined at 66%.
4. The house I was placed into was Hufflepuff, which is what I got last year as well.
When I completed the personality test I got ENFJ-T (Protagonist), last time I remember taking this test I got ENTP (The Debater). I am a little caught off guard by the changing of two letters but looking back I think I have changed a lot, especially since last year. My letters that changed are very close to the middle (60% & 58%) but they have changed nonetheless. I am left-brain inclined, which somewhat contradicts my personality type as one says I easily connect with people and the other says I will come off as cold and unapproachable. I am also house of Gryffindor.
ReplyDeleteI got INFP-T for the 16 personalities test, which is a mediator. Personally I'm not too surprised by the results but it was interesting to see the breakdown of the results and the personality trait chart. For the left and right brain quiz, my results came back more creative, although the results came back as 48% left brained and 52% right brained. And for the sorting hat quiz, I got Ravenclaw. This was a bit surprising because my older sibling also got Ravenclaw when he took the test, and compared to the 16 personalities test, I expected it to be either Gryffindor or Hufflepuff.

DeleteMy personality type is a ESFJ - T. I was not shocked by my results. I find myself socializing and sharing my life with those I hold dear. I tend to find myself leading with my feelings rather than my brain. My friends have told me that I am very observant, that I am the first to know if there's a change in demeanor or physicality. As for my left and right brain quiz the results came out to be 50% of each side with prominent uses of rational and instinctive usage. The results from the brain quiz were a bit shocking as I wouldn't describe myself to be "rational" or "instinctive." Finally, the hat sorted me into Hufflepuff which I am not shocked by as I consider myself to be loyal to what I love.
ReplyDeleteMy personality type is ESTP-T. I was not very surprised by my results and I felt like I fit most of the personality traits described. I find myself being mostly extroverted and observant. It did say I am good at adapting and being flexible, something I don't personally find true but people have said I am flexible. I found out that I was left brained (66%) inclined to math, I do see myself as a more logical person and it was no shock. Lastly, I was sorted into Slytherin, it was not surprising and when I read the Harry Potter books I could see parts of myself relating to the Slytherin house.

DeleteI was typed as an INFJ-T, which was not at all surprising to me. I’ve taken these types of personality tests before and always received this type. I do agree that I am a very convicted person guided by a strong sense of justice and compassion for others. Additionally, I’m not the most extroverted person in the world, as my results would suggest, but the close friends and family that I do have are my entire world and I will do anything to support and care for them. I also am very much an idealist and perfectionist, and while I’ve come a long way in sorting out such issues, can be very sensitive to criticism from those whose opinions I care deeply about, and am conflict-avoidant at all costs. I tested as 82% Left-brained, 18% Right-brained, and sorted as a Hufflepuff. However, my Hogwarts house doesn’t carry much weight for me since I’ve never read or seen any of the Harry Potter books or movies.
ReplyDelete1) I got the INFP-T personality type.
ReplyDelete2) My result does not really surprise me at all as I feel like it describes me fairly well.
3) I am 52% right brained creative.
1) I was sorted into Gryffindor which does not shock me at all.
1. My personality I received was ENFJ-T.
ReplyDelete2. I was surprised I got this result because it described me as a very outgoing extrovert when really I am kind of just an extrovert. I would categorize me as an introvert.I do match a few of the personalities they described me as, charismatic, empathetic, and communicated.
3. For the brain result, I received left brained (56%). I was expecting these results because I like having an order, and analytics to base things off of, like math.
4. For the sorting, I got sorted into Hufflepuff. I definitely see myself being sorted into this house because I am always very dedicated and make sure everything is done to my best effort. I would described myself as patient and loyal toe everyone I know.
I was classified as an INFJ-T, which comes to no surprise to me. Although I can be talkative at times and cherish moments spent with others, I find some of the most valuable time is time spent in solitude. I tend to analyze and sometimes over-analyze my feelings and the feelings of other to build strong relationships. I also am a perfectionist and can internalize the stress and criticism that comes along with that, a key trait of INFJ-Ts. I tested as left brained symbolic(51%) with right brain emotion nearly tied(49%). This makes sense as I like to consider myself as a well rounded person and emotions definitely play a big role in my life, and because I find symbolism very telling and interesting. Finally, I was sorted into Ravenclaw. My lack of knowledge of Harry Potter lore limits my interpretation but after a quick google search I'd have to agree because I am extremely academically motivated.
ReplyDeleteOn the Four Letter personality test, I was classified as an INTJ-T(Architect), unsurprising because it describes me fairly well. Additionally, I am introverted when it comes to being with people in a conversation, usually preferring to stay alone or quiet when working. This helps me concentrate more on my studies, as it eliminates the need for distractions. I also did the left-brained or Right-brained test, and the results were shocking because I thought I would be considered right-brained mainly because I thought it corresponded with my dominant hand being right. Lastly, I completed the Harry Potter house quiz and was put into Hufflepuff, which was surprising because I thought I belonged in Gryffindor, but it makes sense because of my dedication, patience, and loyalty in moving forward as a fellow scholar.
ReplyDelete1. I discovered that I have an ESFJ-T personality!
ReplyDelete2. It is surprising to hear that I might be considered needy often, but honestly, it makes sense because, upon reflection, I am someone who does seek validation in most situations (most commonly academic validation). Something I fully expected to see (and did) is that I am good at connecting with others, I am typically very confident in talking to new people and building relationships with people.
3. Doing this test, I found that I am more right-brained so it seems I am a more creative and imaginative person than a by-the-books, orderly person. This makes sense because I’m anything but orderly, I am very disorganized and live for spur-of-the-moment types of things.
4. I found out that I am a Slytherin, which I can see in some ways but I am still struggling to see and understand why because I don’t see how that fits me yet. But, I do think that Slytherin has a bad reputation and that is maybe why I do not see how that might fit me. However, I was told after my initial test that Slytherins are extremely ambitious and possess many different leadership strengths, those traits are definitely ones I can see in myself.
This is Meriah Baker!
DeleteI am a INFJ-T, and it absolutely surprised me how accurate the results were! Many people think that I’m incredibly extroverted and unafraid to be myself, but the truth is that I’m very afraid of meeting new people and am rarely my “true self” around others, which is exactly what the personality test describes. It also highlighted my issues with perfectionism and self-doubt, which are very literal issues that I tend to struggle with on a daily basis. However, the test made sure to highlight my ability to connect with others on an emotional level as well as my desire to help my friends improve as people. I was also categorized as a left brain 51%, which I feel is a little inaccurate considering my love for creative projects and distaste for orderly lifestyles. Finally, I was sorted into Gryffindor!
ReplyDeleteI got ENFJ-T. I was very surprised at how accurate the description of my results were, I never thought about me being some of the things it said about me; but they were very true. I expected to be categorized as an introvert. I got right-brain inclined and I am a Gryffindor.
ReplyDeleteThis time, I got the personality type ISFP-T, the Adventurer (Turbulent) compared to my last years result, ESFP-T, the Entertainer. I like to think of this as coming full circle, as this was the first ever personality result I got when I took this test with my mom when I was 5, and had consistently for years and years. Im honestly not really surprised, given some of my more "in the middle" results, and the type of traits I present based on this creative archetype of a personality relate more to me than the ones of the Entertainer. For the LBRB Test I got 54% Right Brain Oriented, and my personality/mindset is more artistic and creative based, focusing more on emotional aspects as well. Lastly, the Harry Potter house I got this year was Hufflepuff, which is what I'm pretty sure I got last year as well. Overall I think im relatively the same as I was last year, give or take some small aspects.
ReplyDeleteFor the MBTI test, I got INFP-T, which I believe suits me because of my tendency to lean towards my creativity. Then, my results for the right-brained and left-brained test was that I was right brain inclined. Finally, I am a Gryffindor, which surprised me because I do not believe I align with that house as I am generally not a social person.
ReplyDeleteOn the 4 letter personality test, I classified as ESTJ-T. I agree with this personality and do see a lot of myself described within it. I am the type of person who likes to have an effective plan stick to that plan and stay organized. I am also extraverted and prone to being observant. Then for the right-brained and left-brained test, I was given a right brain which does fit with the facts. And finally, my house is Gryffindor.
ReplyDeleteMy personality type is INFP-T. I’m not surprised because I have a lot of empathy and compassion for nature. Considering my future/dream career is to work and learn about nature and animals in their prime element, I would say the personality type I received is well fitted. I am more left-brained than right-brained, and this result came as a shock to me. I don’t typically understand logistics, numbers aren’t my strong suit but this year math has been. My Harry Potter house is Slytherin.
ReplyDeleteMy personality trait was ISFP-T adventurer, this surprised me as I like to stay within my own environment and keep to things that I know, however sometimes I enjoy trying new things and usually enjoy them. I also ended up being left and right brain balanced which made sense to me as I like to be rational and emotional is various situations. The house I was sorted into was Slytherin, I found this shocking as I when I think of Slytherin I don't imagine myself there at all, I believe I am more of a Hufflepuff kinda person.
ReplyDelete1. I am a Turbulent Commander ENTJ-T.
ReplyDelete2. This is not surprising because I do feel I'm more extroverted and very thinking. What interests me is that I am 51% Turbulent meaning I am teetering on aggressive which is something I see in myself, I can be both at different times.
3. 65% left brain, I do consider myself more objective, I figured as much.
4. I got Hufflepuff... To that I have one thing to say: RIP Batman, Goblit of Fire reminds us that Batman without prep time isn't beating Voldemort.
This is Moses
DeleteAccording to the 16 personalities quiz, I am an ENFP-T Campaigner. This is no surprise to me considering last year when we took this quiz, I resulted in being an INFP-T. In other words, the only thing that changed throughout last year is that I became more extroverted (Which to me, came as a total surprise since I highly value my alone time to recharge my social battery after a long day of being social). One fact that stood out to me as I read the Campaigner’s description was the claim that ENFP-T’s are constantly curious about expanding their understanding on themselves and other human relationships. I personally took this most to heart due to the fact that I’m always trying to be as open-minded and understanding as possible when it comes to other people and their actions/thought process. More facts that stood out to me were my assigned weaknesses. I might even go on as saying that reading my weaknesses are my favorite parts because they're always spot on I consider them hilarious. Said weaknesses were overly optimistic, overly accommodating, and unfocused. (Before I move on I would also love to state that I share my character type with Spiderman. Thats all thanks :> ). Moving on to whether I am right or left brained I received to be equally balanced. As I read to through the description I believe it is quite accurate. Lastly, I had previously been told I was a Hufflepuff but this year my House changed to Ravenclaw. I have no idea what that means so I’ll end my response here.
ReplyDeleteReceiving INFJ-T in the personality test was not a surprise as I previously took the quiz and obtained the same results. I completely match the traits listed, such as being introverted and intuitive. Being told I make decisions based on my emotions rather than logic was predictable as I have to stop myself from acting emotionally all the time. Overall, I feel being an Advocate perfectly suits me. The brain quiz provided me with the results that I use my left side more often. These results line up with being INFJ-T so it was not a shock. Personally, I enjoy hearing that I am left side inclined as I enjoy writing and being rational. Finally, learning that I am a ravenclaw also fits in with my past results.
ReplyDeleteI got INTJ-T again this year, which is no surprise to me since they are known for being highly independent and prefer logic over emotions. I then got 63% left-brained which is no surprise as it is also more focused on analysis than creativity. Lastly, I was placed into the house of Ravenclaw. None of these come as a surprise due to the fact I’ve always enjoyed more fields which include more math and science, and I’ve always been a more curious person rather than a creative person.
ReplyDeleteThis year my result was ENFJ-A, while last year it was ENTJ-A. E- I am definitely an extrovert; I used to be more introverted, especially during and following COVID quarantine, but I am learning that I like interacting with people perhaps more than I will admit.
ReplyDeleteN- I would say I am open-minded but I'm not sure I would go as far as to say I follow my gut more than my sense. I work very well with following a checklist but do prefer to have a flexible schedule. I have no idea if I am more thinking or feeling- I tested 65% left brain and Feeling- my answer also changed from last year, so these tests are not helping me decide. Perhaps that just makes me balanced ;)
I am without a doubt Judging and Assertive. I am very organized and, while I can be a perfectionist, I would choose to be overly-confident over shy/self-conscious every time.
As for my Hogwarts House, I self-identify as Ravenclaw- perhaps Hufflepuff- but the test keeps saying that I'm Gryffindor so what do I know.
I am an ENFJ-A. Some of the aspects about this come to me as a surprise, while others do not. For example, I am a little surprised that I am more extroverted than introverted. The results say that I am resistant to stress and worrying, and I would beg to differ about that. I feel I can be prone to those things instead of resistant. However, I do think that I am intuitive and I definitely value emotional expression. As for my brain I am 58% right brain inclined, which validates the intuitive and feeling aspects from the personality test. My Hogwarts house came to a complete surprise to me at first, I am a Hufflepuff.
ReplyDeleteI got ENFJ-T (Protagonist). This does not really suprise me I odten feeling comfortable talking to whoever about whatever and understanding what to talk about with new people.I got left brained 68% while 32% right brained. Which I always just through I was right brained because im right handed. Also I got slytherin for my house which I never really thought would be me. But its cool i would say.

ReplyDeleteAfter completing the 16 personalities test, I was identified as an ENFJ-T, also known as a Protagonist. It was quite surprising to see this result for the first time, but upon reflection, I can see how the characteristics align with my behavior. The test results emphasized my commitment to making a positive impact within my community, which resonates with my values. I often find myself offering assistance to others proactively and enjoy engaging with new people. While I may appear introverted at times, I become more extroverted in familiar environments and social settings. In addition, I also took a test to determine whether I am more left-brained or right-brained, and it turned out that I lean towards being a left-brained individual. This outcome was not unexpected, considering my inclination towards analytical thinking. I tend to approach situations with a methodical and objective mindset, prioritizing rationality over subjective judgments. Finally, I took the Harry Potter House test and was sorted into Slytherin. Interestingly, this result was consistent with a previous similar test I had taken. I can see the alignment between my strong focus on achieving goals and my strategic approach to various aspects of life.
ReplyDeleteHaving taken the MBTI test before, I wasn’t shocked when I was met with the same result as the last time which is ISTJ. There were certain traits that confused me about it the first time I took the test, such as being insensitive, or stubborn but upon asking people around me, apparently it’s not that surprising. However, I do think it fits me overall in terms of the strengths listed such as; disciplined or honest. The brain quiz took me by surprise by saying the left side of my brain is dominant. The left side is the more logical side which makes sense with my MBTI when researching the qualities of ISTJ. As for my Harry Potter house, I am not a fan so I know nothing about the series but I got Hufflepuff! So that’s cool.
ReplyDeleteMy personality type is ISTJ-T. I was shocked to see a strategy under my personality type is a constant improvement but fully agree. I always try to improve on a skill and search for advice to help my growth. I also was surprised to see the traits as more introverted than extroverted but understand the results as I started noticing myself further. I scored left brain inclined as the test displayed my traits as more of a thinker than creative. For my Harry Potter house, I got selected as Ravenclaw.
ReplyDeleteMy personality type is INFP-T. I am surprised about getting 74% Prospecting. Although, I do usually jump into things without a plan it is only because of my own laziness to make one. I do prefer stability and being on a schedule or at least knowing where to be and when. Other than that I wasn’t really surprised about my results and I didn’t go into the test with any specific expectations other than getting introverted. I am 56% right brained. I got Ravenclaw.
ReplyDeleteI have found out I am an ENFJ-T. At first, this meant nothing to me, until I read more and found the description accurate. This intrigued me as I never thought of myself in this role but it also describes me really accurately I believe. Ben Affleck also is an ENFJ-T, so that's also pretty cool. I also found out I am more left-brain dominant than right-brain dominant, which I believe to be false, I feel I use my right brain more. So it was a slight shock to find out I'm left-brain-oriented. Lastly, I took the Harry Potter test and discovered I belonged to Gridindor, which was not as I hoped. (They are overrated) None the less, all of these quizzes have left me a lot to ponder, and regardless of what they say I am still me, so I’ll keep living as I always have.
ReplyDelete1. I got ENFJ-T
ReplyDelete2. Honestly not surprised, it is not wrong that I like to have more control in certain situations. I like having a leader mentality.
3. I got right-brained orientated which doesn't surprise me, I've gotten that before.
4. I got Gryffindor, unfortunately, I do not know much about Harry Potter except that Harry was a Gryffindor, that's pretty cool.
1. ESFJ-A
ReplyDelete2. I feel that this is accurate as I believe that I am a very caring person.
3. I am left brain inclined.
4. I got Gryffindor.
The personality test showed that I am an ENFP-T, which for the most part I agree with expect for the E part. I don't really consider myself extroverted, I like to talk to people I find interesting but I still don't associate with being extroverted since I grew up very shy and timid. I can see how I have changed in personality in that way as I have grown out of that but still find it shocking. As for my brain, I am Left-brained which I am not really shocked or suprized with, I just found it interesting since I didn't associate with one beforehand. Also I got Slytherin. Not really watching Harry Hotter movies, I presume that its a bad thing?
ReplyDeleteNot at all! Slytherins get a bad reputation because the main villain was a Slytherin, but they are known to be very smart and ambitious, both good things!
Delete1. When taking the 16 personalities test I received the personality trait of INJF-T. I’ve taken the test multiple times within the past few years and this is the first time when my MBTI has changed. Previously I was ENFJ-T, but I have always bordered the line between introvert and extrovert. The percent split this time was 51% introvert and 49% extrovert. I think this breakdown is accurate because I struggle to communicate well with others I’m not familiar with, but I am very social among my friends.
ReplyDelete2. Based on the quiz, I am more right-brained. This doesn’t come as a shock, I think of myself as a creative and emotional person, which fits in line with the right-brained characteristics.
3. This sorting hat quiz determined that I am a Hufflepuff. In the past, I’ve received all of the other houses, but this is the first time I’ve been assigned Hufflepuff.
For the first test I got ENFJ-T , I do consider myself extroverted, and I do relate to most of the associations that come with it. I am also more left brain dominant, more involved in school activities rather than being more creative with art. I also got Hufflepuff for my harry potter house but in the past I was a Gryffindor.
ReplyDeleteFor the personality test, I got ISFP-T, the adventurer. I do see this, because I go with the flow of life. I don't construct my everyday life because I allow flexibility because it makes the most out of every opportunity! For the brain test, I am right brain inclined, this is also no surprise to me as again I live life more freely. Finally, for the final Harry Potter quiz, I got Gryffindor.
ReplyDeleteI am a ENFP-T. Honestly this is not very surprising to me because people often describe me as being enthusiastic and vibrant. I do a lot of visually creative hobbies and I love creative subjects. Another thing I am not surprised about is that I am extraverted. I was a little surprised about how turbulent I am, I never had the word but academically I am very self-concious. Something I find very interesting is that I am Left-brain inclined. I always thought I was more right brained so that is something very interesting. I am a HufflePuff!! This is my favorite house and the house I self-identified with so I am very happy about that.
ReplyDeleteAfter taking the personality quiz I ended up getting ENTJ-T. Apparently this means I am bold, imaginative, and strong-willed, always finding a way and/or making one. I am also 82% extroverted. This did not surprise me because I seem to be a fairly social person and enjoy socializing with other when I am most comfortable. I am 51% intuitive, I think this is correct as since I have taken TOK class my mind has started to grow in new ways although I do find myself stumped and defeated at many points. After taking the brain test I was more left brain inclined. And finally, I got hufflepuff on the harry potter quiz which did not surprise me because I have gotten that before on past quizzes that are similar.
ReplyDeleteThis time around, I got ENTJ-A. I'm pretty sure this is a far cry from my last response, and to that point any other result I have gotten from the test over the years. This is the first time I did not get one of the green personalities, instead receiving the purple. I would say I feel a little more connected to this result than the last one. For the left-right brain dominance, I was split right down the middle. I found this fairly interesting because of how exact the split was. Finally, I was in the Ravenclaw house. I can't remember what I had last time, but I wouldn't be surprised if it is the same as last year.
ReplyDeleteMy MTBI test results were INTJ-T. Every time I have taken an MBTI test, my results are quite similar. Last year, my results were ISTJ-T and before that they were INTJ. All of my results were withing the 50-60% range which feels accurate to me. When I scrolled down, I found one of my weaknesses was emotional distance. Usually, personality quizzes, and people I know, portray me as emotionless and robotic which never made sense to me because I think I am quite an emotional person. But emotional distance to others would make much more sense. Me and my queen Michelle Obama have the same MBTI.
ReplyDeleteThe sorting quiz gave me, once again, Slytherin.
I am 60% left brained and 40% right brained. The left side is analytical, rational, and objective. The right side is creative, emotional, and imaginative. So far, all test have perceived me as emotionless to some degree, which is not necessarily true.
1. I got ENTP-T or debater which is not surprising to me at all considering I debate with my significant other plenty.
ReplyDelete2. Again not surprised at all by these results I expected as much
3. Left Brained Inclined
4. I've done the house test so many times and have always gotten slitherin, I.E the best house
This is deksters comment
Delete1. After completing the personality test, I received the trait of ISFJ, the defender. This was mostly not surprising to me, as I am an emotional person and someone who easily feels for other people, but also someone who organized and prioritizes a schedule. What was most surprising, however, was my lack of assertiveness, and it is something I would like to work on, as it said that I don't focus as much on my own personal needs, as I am more "turbulent" and sensitive to others.
ReplyDelete2. I am 65% more left-brained, and 35% right brained. At first, this made sense to me because I am very analytical, however, right brained is more focused on emotion, which according to my personality test, is a significant part of me. However, besides that, I tend to stay in my comfort zone and am more rational than spontaneous.
3. The sorting quiz gave me the Hufflepuff house, which is the one that I have received for every Harry Potter sorting quiz, so it didn't seem as a surprise to me.
1. I got an MBTI result of INTP-T Logician
ReplyDelete2. This result does not surprise me as I have always preferred a logical and factual viewpoint. I also have interests which lean more towards logical thinking than creative thinking.
3. According to the test I am more left brained, this is also not surprising as I tend to prefer left brained subjects like math over more right brained subjects because of the objectivity that comes with them.
4. I was sorted into Slytherin, this is surprising because I always believed myself to be more of a Ravenclaw. I think I was sorted into Slytherin because of my large ambitions for my future.
I received ENFP-A (Campaigner). I got 60% extroverted which I think is true because I am perfectly content being at my house but I like to talk to people. I am 63% intuitive which is surprising because I often do not follow my gut feeling. I am very relaxed and a feelings based person. I am also confident in who I am as a person and my beliefs. I got 56% right brain and 44% left which makes sense because I do well in the artistic side of things but also love when I understand more of the math side. I got Hufflepuff which I feel is right because I am a very loyal and patient person.
ReplyDeleteI am an ESFJ-A (Consul). This came as no surprise to me as I am exactly like the description of a consul as I am a caring person, a social butterfly, as well as having a heart to help and serve those around me. When learning about my personality type I learned that I am 69 % extroverted, which was very fitting as I need to be around others in order to recharge and not feel drained. One aspect I found interesting was the strengths and weaknesses of my personality type and how much they resonated with me. For example, I find making conversation with others and making others feel loved as one that comes easily and an aspect I am blessed in. As for weaknesses I tend to struggle with perfectionism which is one that many consuls also struggle with. What was surprising to me was how I was assertive rather than turbulent as I know that stress can be something that gets to me and is difficult to work through. As for my left brain or right brain quiz I got 57% left brain and 43% right brain which fits me very well as I love order and do enjoy school but I also have a heart for creativity through dance and singing. The sorting quiz gave me the house of Ravenclaw which was surprising to me as I always get Hufflepuff but I do display the characteristics of a hard worker and being intelligent.
ReplyDeleteAfter taking the test, I was an ISTP-T. This was no surprise because every time I’ve taken an MBTI test, I’ve always been an ISTP. Additionally, it lists traits of ISTP-T’s as working better independently, needing to understand how things work and being practical problem solvers but also opposing structure and having communication challenges which I personally believe are very accurate descriptors of me.
ReplyDeleteThe brain test indicated that I was 52% right brained and 48% left brained. I was surprised that the percentages were so close, I expected them to be further apart, After taking the Hogwarts House quiz, I discovered I was a Hufflepuff.
After taking my personality quiz, I got ENFP-T. I thought this was very accurate because I can be very extraverted, and filled with creativity/ enthusiasm. These results did not shock me at all because of how much I love talking to others and collaborating. After taking the second quiz, I found out I am right brained, also leaning more towards the creative! I got Hufflepuff for my Hogwarts house.
ReplyDeleteAfter taking my personality quiz, I got ENFJ-T. I think this fits me very well because I've always been put in leadership positions and naturally take charge of situations, which is why I'm extroverted in that sense. I've always just been really good with emotions and handling that sort of thing, so I definitely think this was accurate. After the second quiz, I found out that I was right brained. Which makes a lot of sense because I'm very musically inclined and am a lot more intrigued by creative arts rather than anything analytical. I got Hufflepuff for my Hogwarts house, however, that is extremely off from anything I've gotten before, because when I've taken tests before, I'm always either in Ravenclaw or Slytherin. So personally, I don't think the test was very accurate for me, but it placed me in there anyways.
ReplyDeleteFor the personality quiz I got ISFP-T, this is not surprising as many of the traits such as artsy and emotional match well with me. I also recall getting adventurer last time I took this quiz. Secondly I leaned towards the right side with the biggest trait being creative, I enjoy art and music much more than other parts of school so this makes a lot of sense to me. Lastly I got Hufflepuff, I love Harry Potter and have taken multiple test like this and always get Hufflepuff!
ReplyDeleteI got an INFP-T, which I expected because this is the result I have gotten in the past. I was a little surprised though because I feel like I have changed a lot but all of the sections had the same scores as last time. For the other tests I got more right brained and Gryffindor, with the result of the last test catching me off guard since I have not gotten it before.
ReplyDeleteAfter taking the first survey I am an INJF-T, I agree with this as I am introverted, initiative, and turbulent. This is because I am a quiet person, someone who prefers working independently, a perfectionist in most things I do, and always wants to improve. Next, for the second survey my result said that I am right-brained meaning that I am more music inclined. I agree with this since I enjoy listening to music and my hobby is dance. Finally, the third survey I completed said I am house of Hufflepuff.
ReplyDeleteI got INFP-T (Mediator) which is pretty similar to my prior results which was INFJ. Once reading the description of a mediator though I strongly agree with the description for myself. It states that INFP's are very empathetic, loyal, nurturing, and emotionally deep and I believe I possess all of those traits. A flaw that can arise from being so empathetic with others emotions though, is it often leads me to avoid conflict at all costs and not speak my mind when needed at times. I'm very intuitive and greatly desire to understand others and their motives for doing things. I agree with the aspect that I am very self-aware and constantly trying to improve myself, but that also often causes me to take criticism from others not so well. I agree with the description that INFP's desire to make a meaningful impact and work where they can reflect their values. I enjoy flexibility and do not like routine and highly structured environments. It can be hard being a such perfectionist with my work but also a procrastinator due to my carefree, unstructured mindset at times. I found that I am 58% introverted, so almost 50/50 which doesn't surprise me. I am obviously a more introverted person but I find that I enjoy being around people just as much as I enjoy my alone time.
ReplyDeleteI found out that I am more right brained, 56% right, 44% left, which doesn't really surprise me. I am definitely more on the creative side rather than logical/analytical.
I tested Ravenclaw which is different from what I got last year which was Hufflepuff, but I don't necessarily disagree with these results as I do in fact seek wisdom and understanding. I still feel Hufflepuff better describes me though.
The personality type I got was INFJ-T. They’re described as introverted, empathetic, intuitive, and tend to act on emotions. I agree with this because I’m more kept to myself but I also feel deeply towards other people's feelings or struggles. My Hogwarts house was Slytherin, I’m very surprised and I don’t think that’s true. I’ve taken the test many times in the past and I’ve always gotten Ravenclaw. In my opinion, Ravenclaw is a better fit and makes more sense for me. Lastly, I’m right-brain inclined. The percentages between both were very close, but it does sound accurate because they’re also known for acting on instinct and emotion.
ReplyDeleteMy personality trait is INTJs. I can see this, because I do often feel like I am in my own world, not really concerned about what others think of me. According to the site, it says | am very stubborn and like to be independent. I partially agree with this because yes, I do like to accomplish things on my own, however im not too stubborn to the point where I will not ask for help when I especially need it. (Just as the blog states) this does lead me to miscommunication in feelings, because.. well I don't really "do" feelings. In conclusion, I completely agree that I am an architect personality. The Howard's house that I got was 83% Ravenclaw. I'm not super surprised by this, because Every time I have taken a test, without a doubt I have gotten Ravenclaw. I personally believe that I am most like this house because I consider myself to be very knowledgeable and open-minded. My second-place house (closing in at 52%) was Slytherin. I can definitely see myself being a Slytherin as well because they have the characteristics of being obstinate and headstrong. similar to how I see myself. so overall I would agree to think of myself as a Slytherclaw (Slytherin + Ravenclaw). As for my brain, I am 67% right brain and 33% left. I 100% agree with this statement because not only am I involved in a lot of art-producing activities, but I seek comfort in them as well. I have always excelled in the arts, or anything to do with creativity. Rather than the rational at of doing things.
ReplyDeleteTaking the test again this year I got a vastly different result instead of ENFP-T. I'm now INFJ-A still within the diplomat category which I find very interesting. Although I think both personalities fit with the time period. It just means I've had some changes between 11th and 12th which makes me happy to see growth. I agree that I definitely have a strong desire to find my purpose in this lifetime. For the next test I'm more right brain with 61% that went down by 6% and left brain 39%, with the left side going up by 6% which I find slightly amusing. Lastly on the Harry Potter test and I got Hufflepuff again which wasn't a huge shock and was expected. I also agree with the characteristic traits of being dedicated, patient, and loyal.
ReplyDeleteMy personality trait is an ENFP-T. Seeing as how I have done this test before and got the same results, I was not suprised and same can be said for when I first took the test. I feel like I am a very interpersonal person and am able to identify my own traits accurately. With referencing my given personality I feel as though I resonate with it pretty well. Although I can sometimes appear introverted, I do enjoy various activities wich involve social interactions. Furthermore, my brain test concluded that I am more left brain inclined however U show an almost even balance of both left and right sided thinking. As for my Hogwarts house, I am a Slytherin which did not come as a surprise to me as I've taken various tests like that one before.
ReplyDeleteThis is Lucy Townes
DeleteMy MBTI result was INFP-T which I got last time so it didn't suprise me much. My result was barely different in the percentage outcomes, except my turbulence went up from last year. I got 56% left brain and 44% right brain which is close to what I had before and it makes sense to me as I wouldn't truly categorize myself as one or the other really. I know I enjoy both creative and analytical activities. I got sorted into Slytherin which I thought was particularly interesting as in the old version of the test, I got hufflepuff. I don't know much about the Harry Potter houses but I understand how my choices may have led to a "darker" outcome than before.
ReplyDelete1. My personality type is INTJ-T.
ReplyDelete2. After reading about INTJ-T this doesn't surprise me I think that I'm a curious person, I often plan ahead even planning for different situations, and prefer to work alone most of the time.
3. I got left brain inclined, this didn't surprise me because if I remember correctly I got the same thing last year and the traits attributed to the left of the brain seem to fit me more.
4. I got Slytherin, I don't really know anything about Harry Potter but maybe I'll ask my mom about it because she enjoys the books and movies.
I am an ENJF-A which is not very surprising to me. I assumed I would be somewhere in the middle for thinking vs feeling which is mostly true. The more I read the more I felt like it was telling me things I already knew about myself. I am 51% left-brained which is interesting that I am almost an even split. Lastly, I am in the Gryffindor house.
ReplyDelete1. After completing the 16 personalities test, I am ISTJ-T. This means that my personality is a logistician. As a logistician, according to the results of my test, I embody reliability, practicality, and unwavering dedication. I can create order from disorder, organize information as well as resources to reach tangible results, follow systems well, follow through on commitments, I am a reliable worker, and I am an efficient problem solver. Also, my highest-scoring personality traits were Introverted (82%) and Observant (80%). Overall, for the most part, my results do not surprise me because they sound like me but for some part, they do surprise me.
ReplyDelete2. The results of my left or right-brained test are left-brain inclined - objective. My left brain has a percentage of 60% while my right brain has a percentage of 40%. The left side of my brain consists of objective, digital, symbolic, order, rational, analytic, and math. On the other hand, the right side of my brain consists of memory, imagination, emotion, art, instinct, creativity, and music.
3. My Harry Potter House is Hufflepuff. I am not into Harry Potter nor do I know much about it but the last time I took a test similar to this one, I got Ravenclaw.
With a four-letter personality type of ESFP-A, I work as an entertainer. I don't consider myself to be an entertainer, therefore the personality that was assigned to me surprised me a little. However, the description was really true. In fact, I pay close attention to what is going on around me as described by the F (feeling) personality trait but I am also a very practical thinker as described by the S (sensing) personality trait. I also think this is a bit of juxtaposition because people tend to thing that some who only thinks practically has no care for other’s feeling but I think that that is not always the case. According to the quiz, I have a 60% left brain and a 40% right brain. Based on the Harry Potter quiz, I scored 74% in Gryffindor.
ReplyDeleteAfter completing the 16 personalities test, I surprisingly ended up being an ENTP-T. This comes as a shock to me because since 8th grade I had gotten a continuous result of ENFP-T. This shows that over the years I have become a more analytic person who focuses more on what I see and notice instead of how I feel. After some pondering, I found that I agree with these findings for a multitude of reasons; My experiences over my high school career have proven to change me as a person, my outlook on life has even been altered and improved over the years. This moves on to the next topic, am I left brained or right brained? The conclusion of the test said I am right brained, 60% to be exact. And finally, I was sorted into the house of Gryffindor. I never got into the Harry Potter fandom so I don't know exactly what that means for me but I am pretty sure that is a good house.
ReplyDeleteI ended up with the ENFP-T personality trait. (Campaigner) I am not entirely surprised by the results however I don't think I embody the role to the extent anyone with this result would be expected to resemble. The creativity and social aspects I believe are accurate but I'm not sure about the charisma notions. Overall though, I am quite content with this result.
ReplyDeleteThe second test labelled me as right brained which I can somewhat back. Creativity and art have been focal for me recently however I'm not sure how this differs from the previous time I took this test.
From what I can remember from my previous results, this time I ended up in the same house as before; that being Gryffindor.
My personality profile is ESFP-T (Entertainer). I am not surprised with the personality profile I got and actually really agree with the way it describes these type of people. For example, that these people are able to be very social with others. I am 54% left brained and 46% right brained. Finally, I was sorted into the Gryffindor house.
ReplyDelete1. ENTP I am not sirprised that I got this result because it was the same as last year so it was nice to see that I have stayed true to myself.
ReplyDelete2. One thing that surprised me was I got 50-50 on observant and intuitive as I feel like I am more observant rather than intuitive based on how I think I learn but according to the test I push a little bit more intuitive so I guess that is what shocked me the most.
3. The same as last year I got left brain as my result which makes sense because o see myself as a more logical person I like facts I don’t see myself ever thinking creative only in elementary school so o wonder what changed.
4. My hogwarts house I got ravenclaw this year which was weird because o usually get griffindor so this will be a big adjustment I now have to get used to
After completing the MBTI personality test I ended up with the same result as last year, ENFP-T (The Campaigner). It honestly never fails to surprise me with how accurately the result suits me. One thing that has surprised me lately is how many of the strengths and weaknesses listed for my personality type have been exhibited through how I've handled many big situations in my recent life. It's honestly comforting in a way to relate to something so clearly and in turn gain guidance in other facets of my life such as career settings, relationships, and school.
ReplyDeleteRegarding how left or right-brained I am, I wasn't too surprised to see that I am largely right-brained at 63% with left-brained at 36 %. I've always been more in tune with my creative side and it was interesting to see how small subconscious mannerisms can be exhibitors of the way I think.
Lastly, the Hogwarts test deemed me to be a Gryffindor but also very close to Hufflepuff. I believe this sorting is quite accurate to the person I try to be as I care deeply about others whether strangers or old friends, and I try my best to be someone people can rely on but also bring a smile or lift up a room. I love interacting with others and overall cheering others up when they may not be having the best time.
My favorite part in taking all these tests is how it had me reflect on the person I am and how I'm perceived. I gained insight into my strengths and weaknesses, how my brain works, and how the choices I make comprise who I am. I believe that taking these tests and learning more about yourself, can help to gain a greater insight into some of your weaknesses you may not be aware of and how to improve certain aspects of yourself you may want to change.
I got the INTP-T, surprisngly so. I wouldn't describe myself as a person with a major drive for more learning, but I do enjoy learning to an extent. But, in accordance to the test, I would like to see myself as a rational thinker. On the brain-side test, It said I was left-brained which matches with my personality test. Looking at the key words for left brained, I do enjoy when there is a sense of order/things are done in a logical sense. For the harrypotter house, I got the house of Gryffindor. I guess one similiarity between a character like Harry Potter and me would be wanting to help others and caring about family (and not liking Voldemort). If I was at Hogwarts, I think the sorting hat might freak me out so much to the point the hat wouldn't be able to correctly sort me lolololol.
ReplyDeleteAfter completing the 16 personalities test, It was revealed to me that I have the ENFP-A personality trait (Campaigner). This was not a suprise to me because I am always open-minded and outgoing no matter the situation. I wish this test touched on my more intellectual side however as I
ReplyDeleteMy computer died.
DeleteI love to engage in thoguhtful conversations that challenge the brain. For the left and right brain test, I found that I am a perfect balance (analytical, creative, imaginative, and objective). In the Harry Potter test, I found that I was most fit in Ravenclaw with 76%. For the other houses, I am 74% Gryffindor, 52% Hufflepuff, and 40% Slytherin. I am not suprised because I actually got the same percentages last time I took this test.
On the multiple personalities test, I got an ENFP-A which isn't too surprising to me as I have been identified as that multiple times before. What was interesting to me about my results is my last two letters, as I am 51% feeling and 53% Prospecting, which suggests that I tend to lean into both types of personalities-- which I am sure isn't a uncommon thing, but I thought it was very interesting.
ReplyDeleteFor the brain test, I got 53% left brain and 47% right brain-- which I think is similar to what I got last year. I always have issues when I take these tests as I try to select options as accurately as possible and not stick to answers that are in the middle or one or the other. Every single time I'm near split towards the middle and have issues getting a completely consistent result. The only reason I could think for this specific test that I am split down the middle is possibly because I'm ambidextrous? That may relate to why my brain is very similar to both as I have heard that whatever type of brain you have can correlate to your dominate side.
When I took the test, I was given Gryffindor-- but I am not sure how much I identify with any of the houses. It feels a little bit too straightforward of a way to categorize so many different people and can put two wildly different people under one house. As much as that is charming, it feels a little but too general. I think as a test its interesting though, I just don't really feel a whole lot about my answer.
1. Upon taking the 16 personalities test I was labeled as INFP-T.
ReplyDelete2.This remains shockingly accurate as the type is described to be very self-aware leading us to be overly critical of ourselves. It is also no surprise to me that I remain more introverted than extroverted, while I do love meeting new people it is hard to be outgoing and extroverted even with my own friends.
3. I was labeled as left-brain inclined-Objective, scoring a 65% left braind and 35% right brain.
4.My test results labeled me as Hufflepuff.
For my personality type, I got an ENFJ-A. This didn’t surprise me because I think I am definitely and extrovert and I have grown since the last time I took the test. I have become more sure of myself and become reasonable so my results make sense. For the right and left brained test, I got right brained which was surprising because I got left-brained last time. For the Hogwarts house test, I got Gryffindor which didn’t surprise me because it is what I have gotten every time I took the test.
ReplyDeleteMy personality type was ESFJ-T. This surprises me because I would not usually describe myself as extraverted. However, I would agree that I can be described as warm hearted and steady. For the right and left brained test, I got left brained which I found interesting because it said I was more symbolic rather than emotional. For the Hogwarts house test, I got Hufflepuff which did not surprise me because it described me as dedicated, patient, and loyal.
ReplyDeleteMy personality trait was ESFP-T. Im not surprised because I consider myself a burst of energy, which the test told me. I also use 96% of feelings rather than thinking; I am not surprised at all because I tend to think about emotions in tough situations compared to using my knowledge. My test results said that I was more right-brain inclined than left. I am somewhat surprised because I feel like I'm very split down the middle. I was 60% right and 40% left. I got huffepuff on my Harry Potter test. I dont watch Harry Potter, but based on the description of hufflepuffs, I agree, and I am not surprised with their conclusion.
ReplyDeleteMy personality trait is INFJ-T. I will say how I am not as surprised as I expected I would be due to having a vivid imagination and believing I can be a strong empath for people which brings me to connect closer with people. But I will say, the test saying im 72% introverted does surprise me a lot due to me believing I've always been more extroverted and outgoing than introverted. From the left and right brain test, my results had a Left brain 64%. and for the harry potter test I had gotten class Ravenclaw. I dont watch much of harry potter but I do like my results.
ReplyDeleteIf I'm being honest I forgot most of my answers for these test. But I'm pretty sure my left and right brained results are the same from last year, which is not surprising to me because I consider myself to be a pretty consistent person. For my Hogwarts house I got Slytherin I'm not exactly sure what I got last year but I like my results. As for my Personality quiz I got Protagonist and ENFJ-A I'm not sure what I got last year but I'm pretty sure it started with an I. Although my results might be different I still think that this aligns with me as of right now because it mentions that Communication and I feel like I am a pretty good communicator if I do say so myself. But it did mention That I am a little more extroverted than introverted and I would have to disagree, I feel as though I'm more introverted.

ReplyDeleteMy personality is INFP-T, I am a little surprised by this result as I have taken this test before and my personality was a different one. I previously took this test in 9th grade, 2 years ago for English class and got INFJ-T. And I felt that fit me pretty well. However I also feel INFP-T is one that I believe also fits me pretty well, I do think I am imaginative and I do find myself to be a quiet kind of person who holds unstated care for those around me. If there's one thing I feel is missing it's ambition, I don't think I'm as humble as most INFP's. I wonder if perhaps I really have changed...
Brain-Wise I am 56% right inclined and 46% user of the left.
My house is Gryffindor, I've also taken this test before but can't remember what house I got the first. Gryffindor definitely feels right to me though.
