EVERYONE HAS A STORY: Know Thyself, Understand Thy Neighbor

Communication break-down can occur at any time and in many different settings.
There's Group Project Anxiety: everyone has great ideas at discussion meetings, but you feel like the only one with a sense of urgency to get any actual work done.  There's Discussion Frustration: whenever you engage in a discussion with your group, you feel as if your thoughts and ideas are not valued or brushed aside with no regard to your feelings.  And finally, there is just sheer information overload: why is it that after a full day of school, you feel completely zapped of energy, consumed by an overwhelming need to be where people are not?

We all realize that we are social creatures.  We seek out and thrive within interpersonal relationships.
We long to be heard and appreciated, to create and explore.  This is probably not new information.  Rewarding as they may be, however, relationships of every type are complex and not without their difficulties.  People are different.  Where we come from, our experiences, our beliefs, and our DNA all go into who we are, how we see and interpret the world, and how we communicate.

Many corporations have invested large sums of money on consultants with one goal in mind:  to improve inter-office communication and efficiency.  Where do you begin?  The communicators, themselves!  Knowing who you are helps you to better understand how and why you communicate the way that you do.  Knowing who your co-workers are can help you better understand how to communicate with them more effectively and efficiently.

So, as Aristotle taught centuries ago, we will begin by seeking the wisdom that comes from knowing ourselves.  Here is a link to a personality inventory:  http://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test  Once you complete the test, you can have your results emailed to yourself and you can read all about your personality type: how you relate to others, how others see you, how you work, etc.

The test takes about 20 minutes, but it provides a wealth of information as it analyzes four distinct areas of personality and then adds a fifth area that analyzes overall identity.  It is created from a combination of the infamous Myers/Briggs and Carl Jung's Theory of Psychological Types.  The four areas are explained as follows:

1.  Introversion vs Extroversion: (I vs. E) This is more than just "shy" vs. "outgoing."  In fact,
according to Jung, it is really not about that at all.  It has to do more with where you get your energy.  Do you find yourself getting energized when you are around others, or do you find that you need to be away from people to re-energize?
2.  Intuitive vs. Sensing: (N vs. S) Intuitives are creative, imaginative and curious individuals who are open-minded.  They tend to go with novelty over stability and see/feel possibilities.  They tend to have strong discernment in new situations.  Sensing or Observant individuals are practical, pragmatic and down to earth.  They tend to have strong habits and rather than going with their gut, they are more focused on what has happened or what is happening.

3.  Feeling vs. Thinking: (F vs. T) Feeling individuals are sensitive and emotionally expressive.  They are more empathetic and tend to be less competitive than T's.  They tend to focus on social harmony
and cooperation.   Thinkers focus on objectivity and rationality, prioritizing logic over emotion.  They tend to hide their feelings and value efficiency over cooperation.

4.  Judging vs. Perceiving or Prospecting: (J vs. P)  Judging personalities are decisive, thorough and highly organized.  They value clarity, predictability and closure preferring structure and planning to spontaneity.  Perceiving individuals are good at improvising and spotting opportunities.  They are flexible, relaxed, non-conformists who prefer to keep their options open.

Identity Variables of Assertive vs. Turbulent: (A vs. T)Assertive types are confident, self-assured and pretty resistant to stress.  They do not push themselves too hard.  The turbulent types are self-conscious and sensitive to stress. They are perfectionistic types who experience a wide array of emotions.

So, test away, and then....
1.  IDENTIFY YOUR FOUR LETTER PERSONALITY, then put a dash, and A OR T   http://www.16personalities.com/free-personality-test
2.  COMMENT ON ANY SURPRISES OR EXPECTATIONS.
3.  NOW,  click this link, and find out if you are more left or right-brained, and let me know your results!  https://www.arealme.com/left-right-brain/en/
4.  Finally, for those who have not had Mr. Lin, here is a quiz to determine your Harry Potter House.  :)  https://www.gotoquiz.com/pottermore_sorting_quiz_all_possible_question

For example:  I am an INFJ - T.   This was absolutely no surprise to me, but a big surprise to those who know me, as I come across as an extrovert (SO not true!)   I think this is because I am a people pleaser, a trait I am working hard on to mellow.  I am also a J, but BARELY.  I need to feel organized in my environment, but DO NOT open any of my desk drawers!  They show my true, mostly right-brained (although it is close!), messy creativity!  Finally, I am 84% House of Gryffindor.  Now, it's your turn!

  1. For my personality results, I got the same results as I did last year except for one letter! Last year, I was an ENFP-T, but now I am an ENFP-A. There was not a significant difference in my results, but it was interesting to see how the percentages of each category had changed since I had last taken the test. Last year it was E - 69%, N - 60%, F - 71%, P - 67% and T - 60%. This year it is E - 89%, N - 56%, F - 79%, P - 64% and A - 53%. For the left/right brained test, my results were almost exactly the same! (53% left brained, 47% right brained). I am intrigued to see how I have changed from this year to last year, and I am curious to see how it will affect my life and relationships going forward. :)

    1. Also just noticed the Harry Potter quiz! I was sorted into the Slytherin house, which was so funny because 1) I don't know much about Harry Potter, so I associate Slytherin with being the mean ones and 2) from what little knowledge I do have, I expected to get Hufflepuff or Ravenclaw as my house. Ravenclaw was a close second, as I was 70% Ravenclaw and 74% Slytherin. My last house was Hufflepuff with only 36%! Maybe I need to do some research to find out if this is actually accurate...

  2. My Personality type was “The Consul” (ESFJ-T) I scored Extraverted – 67%, Observant – 59%, Feeling – 83%, Judging – 68%,and Turbulent – 72%. These were not a surprise to me as I am a people person as many people would say. I can agree with this as I LOVE interacting with people especially young children which is why I want to become a teacher when I grow up. I am also a very emotional person at times. It can be hard for me to hold in my emotions when I am so strongly passionate or affected by something. I am trying to improve on it,but i don´t think it is bad to be strong willed with your beliefs and be in tune with your emotions because it is human and we can´t deny that we have emotions. It is just that some of us deal with them in different ways. I am also an EXTREMELY organized person so the results of 83% judging was not a surprise to me neither to others because at school and at work I am know for being the ´neat freak´. In fact I would expect it to be higher. I have not been actually diagnosed but I feel like at times I consider myself having OCD. I get extremely stressed, flustered, and can not focus when things are disorganized. One thing that did surprise me was my score for which side of my brain I use. It was pretty evenly split with left brian being 53% and right brained being 47%. I think this was the score because based on certain situations I use different decison making strageties. Reflecting on these scores I would consider myself being rational so this makes sense if I really think about it. Laslty I was sorted into Hufflepuff. Now this was no surprise to me because I am a honest and seek for acceptance. I want to improve on always thinking of how people percieve me. Yes, first impressions are imortant but I should not go out of my way to please someone. If they do not like me for being me then I should not care. Overall, the results did not surprise me. I am very aware of my personality and i am proud of who I am including how I will turn out when i grow older. I have no doubt that I will be my positive friendly self and I hope to keep it that way.

    1. Excellent! I think the first step towards loving and helping others is loving and having confidence in yourself. :) Hufflepuffs are so endearing, and VERY important players in a well adjusted society!!

  3. I wasn't surprised by my results; last year I got INTP-T, and this year I got INFP-T. Both years it was pretty close between the thinking and feeling. Similarly, last year I got right brained, and this year I got left brained. Both years it was 53-47/47-53. Finally, I got Ravenclaw again this year for my Hogwarts house. Overall, I wasn't too surprised by my results. They were mostly congruent with what I got last year save for a few minor discrepancies. On one hand I'm a little disappointed that there weren't any radical differences, but what was I really expecting? On the other hand it's cool to know that I'm not likely to have an identity crisis in the near future.

  4. The personality type that I got was an Advocate and INFJ-T. I was 78% introverted, 51% intuitive, 74% feeling, 57% judging, and 72% turbulent. This makes sense to me because I love to help others and usually make decisions based upon my heart which can sometimes make me very indecisive. I am not the most confident person yet I still am competitive. I love making other people happy and always hope that people will like and trust me. I also got 63% left brained which makes sense because I am more detail oriented and enjoy sciences, but I also love listening to music. I took the harry potter quiz and ended up getting 89% hufflepuff, which relates well to the results of my personality tests. I love helping others and am very hardworking which can put me in stressful situations. I find these tests pretty hard to answer about myself, but they are always really interesting!!!!! :)

  5. I got the personality type, ENFP-T, also known as "The Campaigner". I am 57% Extraverted, 62% Intuitive, 63% Feeling, 51% Prospecting, and 89% Turbulent. With all of these traits put together I believe the main gist of how I live my life is that I don't lead with my heart but my heart leads me. I tend to let my emotions decide what is the best decision for me, and completely throw logic out of the window. And honestly I don't mind that. I don't plan on living a life that is set in stone but rather a life that is spontaneous, adventurous, and free-spirited. I am really dependant on fate and acceptance. I don't like to think that without money I will be unhappy but it's hard to stray away from that mindset, especially when society shoves it in your face. To me, I only care about the well-being of myself and others. So I usually recommend people to follow their dreams even if they doubt they will earn enough money. As long as you are happy, that is the only thing that matters to me. I also like to view things more in detail rather than trying to reach the end product quickly. For example, dancing, I find it easy to scrap a dance that I am not satisfied with, and I take longer focusing on the textures of a dance compared to other people who mainly focus on the bigger dance moves, and move on from dance to dance. This is just another example of my intuitive, turbulent, and prospecting way of life. What I found interesting is that I am considered 57% extraverted, I've always been kind of conflicted on whether or not I am introverted or extraverted because I really love the feeling of being surrounded by people and watching their bustling lives go by, however, I do not enjoy being involved in it because it makes me feel stressed or drained. Overall, I am not really sure what to make of this website considering me being 57% extraverted. I am Left-brained, and it makes me wonder if me being left handed has anything to do with it. I do think me being left-brained makes sense since my thought process is definitely creative, imaginative, and musical. I also ended up being 86% Hufflepuff. I honestly don't know much about Harry Potter but according to the website it reads that, I have been sorted into the house of loyalty, hard work, acceptance, and fairness which are all things that I like to live by. When looking at my personality quiz, it think they both go hand in hand. I enjoyed doing these quizzes and I thought I was so cool how they all listed something similar when describing me.

  6. OMG! My personality test couldn’t have been more right! I am a ISFJ-T (also known as a Defender). I am stunned at how accurate the results were when relating to all aspects of my life! I am 60% left brained and 40 % right brained (which were the same results that I had last year). I am 79% Hufflepuff, 67% Ravenclaw, 43% Slytherin, and 34% Gryffindor.

  7. (Jaquelyn Sanchez)
I think I switched personalities from last time! If I can remember, last time I was an Advocate (INFJ-T) and now this time I am a Mediator (INFP-T). Looking at the explanations of the two, I feel like they're almost about the same, except Mediators are more willing to help others, which is what I am like. I am more left brained, which makes sense in every way except I enjoy the arts and creativity. Everyday life is probably where the left brain thinking comes in, because I would say I'm rational for the most part. Finally, I got Hufflepuff on the sorting quiz (which is more fitting compared to the answer I got on the actual website, which was Slytherin). All of them seem to say the same things about my personality, which is good since I at least have some faith as to how I act and care for others.

  8. I am "The Protagonist" (ENFJ-T) personality type: Extraverted – 54%, Intuitive – 71%, Feeling – 75%, Judging – 71%, Turbulent – 60%. There has never been such a mirror as clear as this before. I have received different answers for this test in the past, but I feel like this personality type really captures where I am right now. I honestly don’t know what I was expecting from this test but most of what the website says for this personality type reigns true for me.

For the second test, I got 53% left brained and 47% right brained. This is what I was expecting. I feel like I am usually a balance of calculating and creative.

As for the Harry Potter house sorting test, I got Ravenclaw at 68% following Gryffindor at a close 64%, followed by Slytherin at 58%, and Hufflepuff at 52%.

  9. For my personality test, I tested an Logistician or ISTJ-T. This means I am 65% introverted, 53% observant, 57% thinking, 81% judging, and 54% turbulent. Although, I don't feel like these percentages are an accurate representative of me. I believe I am 50-50 when it comes to introverted versus extroverted. I think I should be much higher in observant in thinking because those are traits that I have noticed I conform to greatly. Finally, I think I should be much more assertive than turbulent on identity. Although, I never 'test' that well on these personality quizzes. I think this is because I display different personality types in different situations. For instance, when it comes to Student Council Events I am very outgoing and sociable while when I an in a one-on-one conversation I have to have a harder time interacting.

For my Harry Potter test, I was labeled a Hufflepuff. Although I would love to be considered a Hufflepuff, I think I am more of a Slytherin. To me, I am more achievement-oriented and driven while still uplifitng for others in my journey. I guess that must be where my Hufflepuff side comes out.

In all, I love taking these tests because while they may not be accurate, they force reflection upon myself and the extent that I conform to what they label me to be.

  10. Yes! Very true on the reflective end of things. You may be Hufflepuff, but I am interested: what was your Slytherin percentage? Could be you were close. :)

  11. It seems that I have revived the same as last time but more solidified in each category. I think I will always be an ENFP and the only change was the -T on the end of my result which only shows that I'm not a very organized or methodical person which I knew

    ReplyDelete
  12. For the most part I have stayed the same personality wise. I am ESTJ-T which means I am executive. This is no surprise to me being that I like to get things done and I usually want things done a certain way. I have also stayed the same as for being left brain inclined. I have always been logical above creative and I have consistently been like that for as long as I can remember although I do have my bursts of creativity every now and then. The only surprising thing to me was the harry potter house sorting quiz results and it turns out I am a Raven claw. Personally I have always felt I was a Slitherine but it turns out that's the house I would least likely be in.

  13. YEs! As I had guessed I am still a Commander (ENTJ-A) Extraverted – 54%, Intuitive – 67%, Thinking – 71%, Judging – 72%, Assertive – 53%

I knew I would be the same, I would have been shocked if it were anything different.

For the second test I am 78% right brained which is actually really pleasing to know, I can get creative but my ability to actually do so is little to none. This is funny though because I am left handed.

And for the final test,, which I know nothing about I got "Slytherin"

  14. This year, once again, I got the "Entertainer" or ESFP-t. This doesn't surprise me as I don't thinkI've gone through any drastic changes within the last year. However, last year I found that there were little to no other entertainers between me and the class of 2019. So, this year I'm hoping that there will be some other fellow entertainer in the class of 2021.
On the brain quiz, I received a 70% in favor of the left brain. This surprises me as I wouldn't classify myself as a predominantly left-brained person and last year if I remember correctly, I almost split exactly in half between the right/left side.
Lastly, my potter house results reported that I was 74% Hufflepuff. I do not know much about the houses, or much about harry potter in general but I feel as if the answers on all 3 of these tests that I took contrast with one another. Hufflepuffs don't seem to be left-brained or "entertainer"-like people. Just as much as entertainers don't seem to be dominantly left-brained people. If anyone has any interesting theories on why I'm like this please let me know :)

  15. I was met with mild surprise as I recieved INFP-T as my personality trait. I used to be INFJ-T, which I feel more connected to. I'm much more organized, as anyone who's seen my closet would note. I'm equally left and right brained, which I found interesting. I thought I would've been more right brained. Finally, for my favorite quiz, I remain a Ravenclaw (at 81%). Good thing too, or I might have to get a new backpack ;)

  16. I am an INFJ-T who is 92% introverted, 88% intuitive, 67% feeling, 67% judging, and 54% turbulent. This doesn't surprise me at all, except for the percentage of turbulence, as I am a much more turbulent person than most people are lead to believe, I just bottle myself up a lot. I am completely balanced in my usage of the left and right sides of my brain, which also doesn't surprise me because I am a passionate artist and I also get very good grades in all my academic classes. Lastly, it seems that I am 80% ravenclaw, which means I must have changed because I used to be a hufflepuff, which is now 76%, which 80 is higher than.

  17. Upon completing my personality test, I was not surprised to find that I am an ENTJ-A, the Commander. This makes sense, especially when analyzing piece by piece. When it came to me being extroverted, I was not surprised, but I think I’m more balanced in this aspect as of late than what the quiz told me. I definitely thrive in social settings, but I also love to reflect and recharge in solitude. As for the N, I am intuitive which makes sense, especially since I have lately been beginning to realize and appreciate the right brained aspects of myself and how I love to think creatively. I am also a definite T, and my percentage was quite high. I believe there is a time and place for emotion and that is not often in professional settings and find myself getting annoyed with “sensitive” people because I like to get things done. The J also made a lot of sense since I am highly organized and decisive in order to get things done. Lastly, it fit me well to get the A for assertive since I am confident and resistant to stress. I enjoy what I do and don’t generally feel stress from work since I have it under control and I know my abilities.
I am 70% left brain, 30% right brain. This was surprising to me because I think I am an artsy and creative person but also makes sense because while I like those things, I take an academic approach to everything in life.
I am a Slytherin, which is no surprise! I have always been sorted into Slytherin. Sometimes I wonder if this makes me a mean person, but I don’t think so. Also, I’m in Draco Malfoy’s House so how much better can it get?!

  18. My personality type is ISFP-T (the Adventurer). I was not surprised by this because the last time I took the personality test, I got the Adventurer as well.I was actually kind of hoping I would've been something else just to see how I have changed from last year to this year.
I am 53% Left brain and 47% Right brain which surprised me because last time I took this test, I believe that I was more right-brained and I still consider myself to be that way.
I was sorted into Hufflepuff, which I've always thought of myself as more of a Gryfindor, but in all honesty, I've never read any of the Harry Potter books.

  19. I’ve taken this test a few times, and I’ve gotten different results each time. So this time, I decided to pick the personality that I think I am beforehand, and then compare it with my actual results. I predicted that I was a Campaigner, or ENFP. It turns out that I was indeed an ENFP-T. I’m not really surprised, but I’m not sure what to expect in the first place because I don’t think I identify myself very well. I wasn't sure I agreed with turbulent instead of assertive, but then again, I'm not sure. Either way, it’s an interesting test!

My left brain/right brain test put me at left brain 56%, and right brain 44%. I honestly didn’t expect this. I thought I would be much more right brain. It is pretty close though.

My Hogwarts House is apparently Ravenclaw, which is kinda strange because when I took this same test on the official Pottermore website I was Gryffindor. I personally agree with Gryffindor, since...I mean, c’mon, that’s where all the cool people are at.

    ReplyDelete
  20. After taking the Meyers-Briggs test, I am not surprised to find myself with the same result as last time, INFJ-T (The Advocate). I honestly have not changed throughout all of high school, however the test did say that my introverted nature has increased which kind of sucks, but oh well. I have taken this test a couple of times and have gotten the same results every time and I think it's scarily accurate.

As for the brain test, I am surprisingly more left brained. I always thought that I had a more creative mind, but I could see how some of my analytical nature could get the best of that.

I was sorted into Hufflepuff, which I can agree with. (Even though my Pottermore quiz told me I was a Ravenclaw) I am more sensitive and thoughtful so I could definitely see that.

  21. After partaking in this personality test I learned that I am ‘The Architect’, which is intj-t. According to the results of the test, I learned that ‘The Architect’ is one of the rarest personalities, they think logically and strategically, which I totally believe I am guilty of doing. I love thinking independently and I don’t like interacting with others because I believe that, that specific role is not fit for my personality. Going onto the right or left sided brain test, I learned that I am a digital thinker and tend to use the left side of my brain. This again, does not surprise me because I find that thinking logically seems to have the highest chance of succeeding, which I is something I truly desire. Finally, after taking the Hogwarts House test, I received the results, which stated that I am most likely to be in Ravenclaw. Again, I agree with this decision because Ravenclaw is known for their individualism which I believe I excel at.

    ReplyDelete
  22. The first test showed that I was a (Adventurer)
ISFP-T. I think the last time I took this test I had gotten a different result so it was surprising to see that I was a new type of person. The right and left brained test showed that I was more left brained 60% and right brained 40%, which I think is pretty accurate about me. For the Harry Potter house I was sorted into Ravenclaw with a 76%. I do not know much about Harry Potter but according to my friends they say I am a Ravenclaw.

    ReplyDelete
  23. I am ENFP - T. Each of the descriptions underneath my results made sense for me. It said I was more extroverted than introverted but only by a little which I feel describes me pretty well. It also said that I make decisions more on my emotions than thinking about it which is totally me. So overall my personality type of the campaigner, I feel is pretty accurate. When it came to the right brain/left brain I got that I was a little bit more left brain. This meant that I am rational, like order, objective, symbolic, analytical and love math. When it comes to school I would say this is very true. I like things that are specific and direct. But everything else in my life besides school I would say I am more right brain personally. The reason I say this is because I am very organized and on point for the most part when it comes to school. But then when I go home I am the complete opposite. I am all over the place, not organize and a constant mess. Most people wouldn't think that but its true. Then the harry potter house I got that I am a Ravenclaw. I thought this was interesting because I have seen many people take the test how are into harry potter and had an option on what house they are in. For me, I am not into harry potter but the description it gave on why I am in the house/what characteristics I present I would agree with. I am 74% Ravenclaw to be exact. What this means is that I fit in the house of intelligence, curiosity, individualism, and wit. But also I am 60% Hufflepuff & Gryffindor. That was what I found the most interesting because I thought it was funny how I am equally those two houses. I guess it means I am balanced when it comes to those characteristics.

  24. After taking the Meyers-Briggs test, I got INFJ-T, I am honestly not surprised by these results especially being introverted. I can be every introverted at first until I get to know that person then they cant get me to shut up.
As for the brain test, I am more right brain, this isnt surprising because I love being creative more with writing and art. I love imaging different things and worlds that are waiting to be created.
I got sorted into slytherin, which I agree with as I am very much driven by ambition and I feel as though I can be cunning at times. I also feel like in groups I am a leader which are all traits of a slytherin.

  25. After taking the personality test, I got INTP-T. This does not surprise me, as I took this test last year and got the same result, and I can be extremely introverted, unless I have known someone for a pretty long amount of time, which then I finally come out of my shell. I got 60% left brain, which still does not surprise me, as I feel I can be more analytic when thinking ,rather than creative. I got 78% Hufflepuff on the Harry Potter quiz, which does not surprise me as I also got Hufflepuff on the actual Pottermore quiz, and I feel I can be very loyal towards my friends and hardworking

  27. For the personality test, I got the same results as last year except for one letter! The first time I took the test, I got INFJ-T (Advocate), but now I got ISFJ-T (Defender). I got 54% observant over 46% intuitive. This shows that the results were very close and there wasn't such a dramatic difference. I was not that surprised because I expected the results to be pretty similar. For the left and right brain test, I received the same results as last year: 60% left and 40% right. I feel like these accurately represent me because I see myself as more analytical and rational. I was very excited to take the Harry Potter quiz since I had never taken it before. I got 83% Hufflepuff, with the next highest being Ravenclaw. Even though I don’t know anything about Harry Potter, I feel that this fits me as it states that people in Hufflepuff are loyal, hardworking, and fair.

  28. After taking the personality type test I got ESTJ-J. I was not surprised with the results regarding me being an extroverted person, however, I think I'm more assertive than turbulent and I think I am observant, but also very intuitive which I on;y got 35%. I am 70% left brain which I don't think my left brain percentage is that high because I am pretty terrible at math and I do consider myself a creative person. My house was 78% Ravenclaw.

  30. After taking the first personality test, I received EITJ-T. This makes sense because I consider myself to be an extravert and outgoing the majority of the time. What surprised me was that the test revealed that I was used more thinking than the feeling when decision making. However, I remember a few instances where I let my emotions got the best of me and took over my decision making. Despite being described as an extrovert, I agree with the test that I lack confidence in my abilities sometimes. For my brain test, I received a score of 66% left brain. This makes sense as sometimes I am very digital, math orientated, and analytic. However, I do have a sense of creativity at times, it just isn’t as bold. For the Harry Potter quiz, I was placed in the house of GRYFFINDOR, the house of bravery and chivalry, by 81%

    1. That second letter would either be an N or S ---was this a typo? You are really close on the brain quiz, so you could be more balanced there, too! Gryf is a great place to be. ;)

  31. I got INFJ-T. I understand why I got most of results because I am very introverted but very extroverted when around close friends. I was surprised about getting Feeling over Thinking because I make my decisions through thoughtful consideration and I don't enjoy sharing my feelings. I got 56% left brained and 44% right brained. This surprised me because I usually see myself as 50/50. I can be very rationale when it comes to he purpose of life and decisions, but I also really enjoy the arts and am very empathetic to people. I got 80% Gryffindor, which I fully support because I enjoy fighting for what I believe in.

    1. We are almost the same person! :) Same personality, just reverse the brain sides (I am super close too, but lean R) and same house and percentage, almost (84% Gryf) Was your second house Ravenclaw? Nice to know a kindred thinker!! :D

  32. My personality type is ISFJ-T, a defender. I agreed with every trait except for Feeling. I never really like to be emotionally open with others and I thought that I made decisions based more on logic, and rationale, however now I am starting to think otherwise. I got 54% right brained and 46% right brained, which is interesting because I thought I was more left brained. For the pottermore sorting quiz I got 64% Gryffindor, which I 100% agree with because Gryffindor was always my favorite house and coincidentally or not, my name (Hamza) means or is attributed with bravery and courage.

  33. My personality type came out to be ISFJ-T or a Turbulent Defender. I was not surprised by any of the information that was given to me except for being 73% Turbulent which I had no idea would be so high. I am most definitely introverted knowing that I like to have my own time alone. I also know I am more observant of what has happened and what is currently happening rather than think about future events. I do make a lot of decisions emotionally rather than thinking it through but I want to work on that part a bit more so it is not as high as 63%. As for which side of the brain I use more, I use 60% more of the left side of my brain and 40%. I know this is true as I like to use more math and rational and objectives when dealing with issues or just in every day life. I have done the Harry Potter quiz before with Mr. Lin and my past house was Hufflepuff giving me descriptions of loyal, hard working, and dependable. I work hard in everything I can because I like to be pushed in my learning and I try my best to be truthful and dependable to everyone.

  34. For my personality, I got ENTP-T. I'm a bit surprised because although I like looking at a situation from both sides and have always found debating interesting and fun, I'm more of a quiet person and tend to keep my thoughts to myself. However, if I get passionate about a subject, I do make sure to let people know what I think about it. However, I do catch myself shying away from hard work and do what I can to have the least amount of work possible, which is something that I've been trying to change lately. I got 53% left brain and 47% right brain on the second quiz, which surprised me because I believe that I tend to be more irrational than rational at times, and I do sometimes act on my emotions rather than logic. For the house quiz, I got 84% Ravenclaw, which also surprised me because I have usually been sorted into Gryffindor and Hufflepuff in the past. However, looking at my two past test results, I can see why I would be sorted into Ravenclaw.

  35. My personality type is ISFJ-T, which is a defender. I wasn't super shocked about this but some traits in this personality type did shock me. For example, it says that I will be more judging than prospecting. Judging is more structured and I am not that structured when it comes to school work. I am 43% left brained and 57% right brained. I did expect myself to come close to 50/50, which I did. For the Harry Potter quiz I am 77% Griffindor. I'm not quite sure if that sounds like me or if I should have been sorted into a different house.

  36. After retaking the personality test this year, my results came out to be ISTJ-T (Logistician). I was not entirely surprised by this, as I got a very similar results last year. The only difference I noted is that this year I scored higher on ‘thinking’ whereas last year I scored higher on ‘feeling’. The overall percentages, however, were very similar. The same proved true for the left and right brained test, as the results from both years are only slightly different! This year I was said to be 56% left brained and 44% right brained, whereas last year I received an exact 50/50 score. For the Harry Potter test I was said to be an 84% ‘hufflepuff’. I am not entirely sure what my results mean in reference with Harry Potter, however I do consider them true from the hufflepuff traits described as “[loyal], hard working, [accepting], and [fair]”.

  37. After taking the 16 personality test for my senior year, my results were near the same as my junior year, changing from ENTP-T to ENTP-A, the only notable difference being in identity changing from turbulent to assertive. With the blind hope that junior me was just as obnoxious as senior me, I went back to the blog from last year in the hope that I had included my percentages for each section, and luckily I did.
Starting at the beginning of the personality analysis, and with the most shocking change to me, my mind aspect changed from being only 53% extroverted to now being 79% extroverted. Last year I said that my Mind aspect was too close to truly identify with either side, however, this year I think I can truly claim the title of a true extrovert. I attribute this change largely to the group of friends I’ve developed. My friends have made me comfortable in public and taught me that it doesn’t matter what people think about you as long as your content with who you are. I was more shocked by how low my extrovert score was last year more than I am shocked with what it is now. I felt myself becoming louder and more social in the past year, and I have to admit, it is a change that I am very happy with.
Moving along, last year I was 73% in intuitive and this year I dropped down to 51%! This change, although drastic, is not as surprising to me as I’ve made a conscious effort of trying to be less impulsive and more observant with my surroundings in order to do what’s best. I also dropped from 88% in both thinking and prospecting, to 60% in thinking and 68% in prospecting. This drop shows me that I’ve become more emotionally intelligent and that although I am still flexible in my planning, that I have become more determined to find a definite path for my future, making my longer term planning stronger. For my brain quiz, I received split of 57% to 43% each year, however last year I was more left brained and this year I am more right brained. I’ve felt this creative side become slightly more dominant over the past year as I’ve gravitated towards new music and art forms that I haven’t been inclined to try before recently.
Overall, I’m proud of these changes as I believe they all show improved maturity and growth as a person.
For my Harry Potter house, I was sorted into Gryffindor by 86%. I feel this is very accurate because I am adventurous and I am not afraid to stand up for what I believe is right, which are both main qualities of Gryffindor. I read that Griffyndors are ‘regarded as brave, though sometimes to the point of recklessness’ which I feel pertains to my life greastly. I also read how Gryffndors are often people who can fit into another house, but ask to be in Gryffindor, showing their bravery, which I thought was amusing because before taking the test I was hoping to be put into Gryffindor.

  38. My personality type is ESFP-T, which is a turbulent entertainer. I am not too shocked at this yet again I am surprised as well because well of how in certain aspects it truly describes me then in others how I wonder how I can be this certain trait or person. My strategy as well is social engagement. This is a bit of a shocker in some instances, mainly because as a kid or younger person I would always be super shy and now through time this all has changed and I am more socially involved and talkative. Yet again I don't know if this would be considered a good or bad thing in certain instances. Then on my feeling percentage, I received a 79% feeling and I totally agree because I do act out of my feelings all the time and my mom as well has told me so. For my brian as well it turns out to be that I am more of a Left sided user. I use 60% of my left side brain compared to the other 40%, which is interesting yet I can agree how I used to be artsy or into more art and visible activities.

  39. From the personality test I got the type ENFP-A which is campaigner. My score had me at 65% extroverted which I agree with. I was split right down the middle between intuitive and observant a 51/49 split which describes me well. I was 70% feeling which pretty much describes all my decisions I only think when its important. I was surprised that I scored a 80% assertive personality because I always thought of myself as turbulent in the past. I am 53 percent left brained and 47% right brained. This describes me because I can adapt to the task whether I´am required to be creative or logical. My house is Hufflepuff which is the house of loyalty, acceptance and hardworking which is very interesting because I usually try to work smarter and not harder.

  40. After the test I got what I did last year, Intj-T. Although I have a hard time memorizing the specifics, most if not all of my letters were the same. The percentages go as follows; 89%-I, 55%-I, 61%-T, 51%-J, 75%-T. I kinda expected this, as I didn’t really do much over the summer, so character development is out of the question, however I do feel a bit more confident in realizing my nature if I somehow get the same answer twice.
My left-right brain test gave me a 57% Right brain vs a 43% left brain. I didn't expect those results based on the previous test but I can also see why I did score that way.
And finally I am 66% Gryffindor, which surprised me at first but as I looked at all the other percentages I saw that most of them were really close, so I guess im slightly indecisive.

  41. The personality test revealed that I was a mediator
(INFP-A/INFP-T). The results that I got was near perfect when describing my personality. The test said that I was a hard worker, which is true when it comes to something I enjoy. It also said that I was passionate and energetic along with creative which I probably get from my artistic side. The second test said I was 56% left brained, meaning I am rational. I ended up with being 82% Ravenclaw.

  42. According to the personality test, I am “Consul” or ESFJ-A. I was really surprised to see my results because it’s really different from my results last year. Last year I got the “Debater” which is ENTP which means that 3 of my ratios changed but what I find really interesting is that all of my characteristics are really close to 50%. I found it really interesting that I’m 51% Extrovert and 49% Introvert because it’s so close to half and half. Other than that I really related to a characteristic of a consul where they respect the wisdom of leadership and likes to be around children.

When taking the Left Brain Right Brain Test, it seems that I rely more on my left brain than I did last year. Last year I was really close to evenly depending on both sides of my brain but this year I’m rely more on the left side of my brain at 70%.

Then I took the Harry Potter house test and found out that I am a Revenclaw, the house of intelligence, curiosity, individualism, and wit. I’ve never read the Harry Potter books so I didn’t know what it meant or what characters are also Ravenclaws but individualism is nice so I’m glad.

  43. After taking the personality test I learned I am, protagonist ENFJ-T. Overall all my test results were not to surprising. However I didn't realize until now how much I really do let my emotions influence my decisions because I got 78% feeling and 22% thinking. Overall I think the results match my personality very well. What I found interesting as well is I was 51% introvert and 49% extrovert so it was almost 50/50. This makes sense because sometimes I am out going and sometimes I am shy, it really depends on the situations.

For the left side-right side brain test, my results were 63% percent left side and 37% percent right side. I found these results very shocking because the left side of the brain which I use most is math and right side is music and creativity which I love very much. I am a musical person so this came in shock to me that I use my left side more.

For the Harry potter quiz I got 77% Hufflepuff. This was not a suprise because I have taken a test like this before and I got Hufflepuff as well. I think Hufflepuff is a great house!

  44. My personality type is INFP-T, the mediator. I'm not surprised by this since I have taken the 16 personalities test before and I have gotten this result multiple times. It's also not a surprise as the results were very accurate to my personality and the way I perceive things. It was very fun to see I shared the same personality trait with J.R.R. Tolkien as well. I also got 64% right brain and 36% left brain, showing I'm more right brained when it comes to decisions. I wasn't too surprised with this since I like to picture myself as a creative person and I enjoy more whimsical and fantastical things rather than logistics. While I do have Mr. Lin, I have never taken the Hogwarts house test before (except on the actual Pottermore website) and I wasn't surprised to see I was also a Ravenclaw on this test. It's funny to think that many people associate Ravenclaws with being smart and logical, but a lot of Ravenclaws, take Luna Lovegood for example, are more whimsical and creative in their expression. In general, Ravenclaws like to explore different possibilities, whether they are innovative or more on the fantasy side, despite most people associating them with only being smart. I wasn't surprised with my result, but I am pleased that all my answers really seemed to fit me.

  45. According to the personality test my personality type is INFJ-T also known as the advocate personality type. Although some of these attributes were surprising such as intuitive, the others were expected. I expected to receive a higher percentage for introverted because while I appear extroverted to my close friend, I desire isolation at times. For example, I tend to get more anxious and stressed when I am going out to either a football game, the movies, a dance, etc because I know that there will be more people around then just my friends. The fear of awkwardness and too many people being in association with presents itself. I quite often keep to my self and enjoy having a my own sacred place. On the other hand, for intuitive, I was not expecting that personality trait. After reading about the meanings of intuitive and observant, I generally thought I was more observant as I tend to go with what my head is telling me to do rather than my heart, however, this was not the case. I apparently i am more creative, curious and open minded, but after reflecting I can see this personality trait as well. In addition to this, I received feeling instead of thinking for nature. This is due to the fact that I try to create peace and harmony in situations and do not find myself a competitive person but a more empathetic person. For tactics, I received judging which was surprising in some ways. For one I am not very organized and don't have established routines but I do however value clarity an closure. Lastly, for Identity, I received a 74% for Turbulent. This was not a surprise to me in any way because I know that I am a self conscious type person and I always strive for perfection which includes endless stress.

According to the brain test, I have a left brain incline of 56% and a right brain decline of 44%. Before I took this test, I was not sure of the outcome because I feel in a way I am 50/50. I love learning about language, history, art, music etc. and tend to have a good memory and focus more on emotion which is more of the right side of the brain. However, I am more left because I approach things analytically with ration and order.

Lastly, for the Pottermore quiz, I did not know what to expect considering I have never read or seen the Harry Potter series and don't posses a knowledge of it. In the end I received a 64% for both Gryffindor and Slytherin. I did not expect to get the same score for two of the houses.

  46. My personality time is INFP-T, or the mediator. I've never taken a personality test before so I was very interested to learn about my results. As I was reading the description I was astounded to realize all of the things that I do subconsciously. For example, I tend to build my own scenarios for relationships and personal goals, which are very unrealistic. Then, if those scenarios are not achieved in real life, I tend not to appreciate them, or I think that they are failures. As for introverted v. extroverted, I found that I am an equal amount of both with 51% introverted and 49% extroverted. I was not surprised at all when I learned that I am 89% an emotional thinker/processor. I wasn't surprised either that I am mostly and Intuitive thinker at 69%.

As for the brain test, I am 60% right brain and 40% left brain. I wasn't surprised at these results either because, while I do appreciate logic I am a more passionate/emotional driven person.

  47. The personality type that I received was ISFP-T, which is the Adventurer (Introvert 64%, Observant 56%, Feeling 61%, Prospecting 60%, Turbulent 65%) . This was surprising to me at first, however, after reading into it more, I found certain characteristics that were very accurate. I have always knew that I was an introvert and liked to be more independent and competitive which matched the description, however, I never thought of myself as very imaginative or artistic. One description that I feel I related with the most was that Adventurers are Introverts and can surprise their friends when they step out of the spotlight to be by themselves to recharge. This was very accurate because I value my time alone and usually take this time to dwell on things.

For the brain test I got the results of Left brain inclined - Digital with 63% left brained and 37% right brained. This was expected because I am very analytic and rational with my decisions.

For the Pottermore Sorting Quiz I got Gryffindor 86% which surprised me because it is the house of bravery and chivalry.

  48. On the personality quiz, I got ESFJ-T, the Consul. I was a little surprised because the description says that these are the popular people who are the center of attention and I don’t feel like that applies to me, but lots of the other description do, such as wanting to have some control over situations to ensure for the best result for the majority. I got 78% turbulent which isn’t surprising because I have a super hard time making important decisions. I was surprised that I got more feeling than thinking, especially after I got 70% left-brained on the second test. I do have a very logical approach to life and usually use that to make the decision that I feel benefits the most people the best. I got 84% Hufflepuff which didn't surprise me at all, and matches my first result really well.

  49. The personality test that I took first said that I was an
INTP-T but my percentages were kind of in the middle. Every percent was in the low 50s, high 40s or low 60s. I think this reflects my personality even more as it shows that I am kind of in the middle of everything. It said that I was a Logician and that Logicians make up only 3% of the population. I am still working on finishing up reading about all the things that define a Logician but so far I am intrigued by what this says about me and how I exist. This test result is completely different from what it said last year. I believe last year I was an Entrepreneur but I don’t really remember. All I do remember is that my percentages were split down the middle and that is the exact same again this year. I guess that while my personality type has changed I am still similar. I don’t really feel that much different but I guess I do think that I have realized more things about myself and how I think the world works.

For the right-brained left-brained test it said that I was 54% right-brained which I feel is still pretty down the middle. I think that I see both brainedness in myself and I think this test was pretty accurate.

When I took the Harry Potter test it said I was 82% Hufflepuff and that I was loyal, hard-working, acceptant and fair. It said the same when I had taken a similar test before. I don’t know anything about Hufflepuffs or Harry Potter in general but I accept this. I don’t really know what it means because I can’t relate it to specific people because I haven’t seen any of the movies or read the books but they all seem to be positive characteristics that I like.

  50. I am categorized as a turbulent campaigner (ENFP-T), and I am not very surprised at these results, In every area that I looked at, I can see how I react in certain situations; based on the people I am around I can see different ways that I act which reveal why most of my answers were almost balanced or at 70/30%. To be completely honest, a lot of the times I feel very comfortable and outgoing with groups of people, however when I am in public around a lot of strangers my energy goes down and I start to feel anxious. This could be the reason to why my identity section was 28% assertive.

On the brain test, I was perfectly balanced, using 50% for each side. I can definitely see this for me, and I can understand how I would use both parts equally. I think of myself as an academic, analytical person however I also catch myself being very creative and artistic.

For the last test, the Harry Potter one, I was shown to be 78% hufflepuff which did not surprise me at all because everytime I take a sorting test I get the same results. I can definitely see the hufflepuff characteristics in myself because I am a very loyal, empathetic, and trusting person. However, I would like to think that I am also a Ravenclaw and Gryffindor. I think that this test is fairly accurate, but I feel as though it is unfair that I can only be classified as one.

  51. After taking the Edmund Burke test, my personality was revealed to be type ESTJ-T with 79% extrovert, 58% observant, 63%, 64% judging, and 81% turbulent. Reading more into it, I’m not really surprised that my personality would be called an “executive”. Going deeper reveals that many presidents have also been executives which is surprising as I would not compare myself to how a president acts. It also says that executives refuse to be lazy and to procrastinate or put off work which I don’t find surprising as I barely procrastinate and when even when I do I still complete what needs to be done. It also says that Dwight Schrute would be an executive which I find fascinating as I love his character in The Office and relate to him and Angela.

After taking the right-left brain test, I was discovered to be a solid left brainer, 66%-34%. I do really enjoy things with facts such as math rather than something I have to interpret.

Every time I have ever taken a Harry Potter sorting hat quiz I have always been placed into the house of Ravenclaw, however this time I was placed into the house of Slytherin which I do not find to be surprising as I usually think I would be in Slytherin. I was 86% Slytherin, 72% Ravenclaw, 64% Gryffindor, and 22% Hufflepuff.

  52. For the personality test I was labelled an ENFJ-T, The extroverted part kind of surprised me a bit because while I talk to people I am comfortable with a lot I don't usually go out of my way to meet new people. However if people approach me I don't ever turn them down and I always try to be nice and converse with them. I tested 66% left brain and 34% right brain, this made sense to me as I often think about things more critically and rationally. Lastly for the harry potter test I was tested as 82% Gryffindor, 62% Slytherin, 60% Hufflepuff, and 32% Ravenclaw, now I haven't watched Harry Potter in a very long time I do feel that I try to be brave and take risks when I can so I think this accurately portrays me for the most part.

  53. According to the personalities test my personality would be protagonist or ENJF-A. It said that I was 85% extroverted which I'm not surprised at all because I am a very outgoing type of person. It said I am 52% intuitive but I also feel like I'm also observant so I can see why it is close to being 50/50. The test said I was 71% feeling and that I was emotionally expressive and sensitive which I feel like I'm not at all. I don't really like show or say my emotions so I tend to keep all the negativity inside cause I like to stay positive. For tactics it says I'm 58% judging which is totally me. I'm very organized and through with my work and decision making. Last but not least in identity I am 64% assertive which I can totally see.

For the left-right brain test, the test said I was 50% left and 50% right. I for sure can see how I'm left-right balanced because I'm the type of person to be creative while being logical at the same time.

For the Harry Potter test I was told that I would be in the Hufflepuff house and after reading the description of what a Hufflepuff I can totally see that I would be placed in this house. What was interesting about my results was that my numbers for the rest of the house very close except Hufflepuff. I got 56% Slytherin, 48% Gryffindor, 48% Ravenclaw, and 86% Hufflepuff.

  54. I am an ENFP-T, this isn’t really surprising to me because I often find myself thinking of ways to leave social gatherings early and I try to just have as many chill nights at home as I possibly can. Everything else within this quiz also seemed to match up pretty seamlessly with what I consider my personality to be like. It pinpointed how thinking really goes into everything I do even if it’s overthinking. With that in mind I guess it makes sense that I’m more left brained in some cases but then again I really like being artistic too with is probably why I’m almost split with right and left brained. And I got a score of 86% Hufflepuff which is described as valuing fairness, loyalty, and acceptance.

  55. When I took the personality test again, I was shocked! The results were so different from last year and I wasn’t sure it was true so I took it again and I got the same result just with slightly different results. Apparently, my personality is a “Consul” (ESFJ-T) which is the opposite of last year when I got INFJ-T. The percent details were 56% Extroverted, 63% Observant, 79% Feeling, 67% Judging, and 72% Turbulent. The fact that I was identified as an Extrovert comes as a shock to me but once I really thought about it, I realized that my introversion and extroversion percents are almost 50/50 and I can be quite an extrovert at times since I usually always find myself talking with people or join in on just about anyone’s conversation even if I don’t really know them. I also really love to make people smile and try to make it my goal every day. Though I still feel that I’m still an introvert at heart. My percents also said that I am more observant rather than intuitive, which I think is true. Other than this, surprisingly the other percentages were pretty much the same as last year. Next, I took the left vs. right brain test, and it determined I use more of my left brain by 63% vs. 37% right brain. I agree with these results since I have always been more of a logical person even when I get stressed out or emotional. The last test was the Harry Potter test and my results said that I would have been placed in the house of Hufflepuff with 84%, the second was Ravenclaw, third was Gryffindor and my lowest score was Slytherin. Overall, I feel that these tests revealed some crazy things that I never would have thought I was, however, I’m glad to see how much I’ve changed in only a year and I am excited to see if I will continue to change! :)

I also vaguely remember taking this test before and I got the same thing as well. For the second test, I got 60% right brained and 40% left brained. I do not agree with this because these kind of people are described as symbolic, analytic & rational, which are three things I am totally NOT. To be honest, this result caught me bu surprise. For the Harry Potter test, I got 88% Gryffindor, 70% Slytherin, 50% Ravenclaw & 32% Hufflepuff. To be completely honest, I thought my Hufflepuff percentage would be higher. Other than that, I do agree with the test. :)

  58. For the personality test I got Entertainer, ESFP-T. I have taken this test before but it always shocks me when I have more of an extrovert percentage because usually when I am not in a space with friends or family, I am more introverted. I expected to see that I would get something like having more of a turbulent identity because I am always thinking about how others think of me, which is never the best, but also that I have some of a perfectionist personality because I find myself picking messes up and making books all lined up or moving an object over just a little bit because it looks better there.
After reading about being an entertainer, I see why this is my personality because I always try to make people laugh and try to have them feel like how I do. Something else that surprised me was when it said this " People with this personality type are often the first to help someone talk out a challenging problem, happily providing emotional support and practical advice. However, if the problem is about them, Entertainers are more likely to avoid a conflict altogether than to address it head-on." This relates to me so much.
For the right brain/left brained test I got 53% left brained and 47% right brained.
And for the harry potter test I got 88% Hufflepuff, 80% Gryffindor, 66% Ravenclaw, and 4% Slytherin

  59. The results of the first test came to be ESFJ-T. I was both surprised and wasn't by the results. I knew that all of the traits being described by the result above were somewhat true about me, but I wasn't ready for how spot on it was going to be (E - 56% / S - 55% / F - 64% / J - 56% / T - 64%). From the results it gave me a clearer picture of what I was and was I somewhat still needed to work on like thinking more about my decisions rather than making them off of feeling. I am not saying that feeling is bad and you shouldn't do it but I make most of my decisions off of feeling because that is who I am. Everything can't just be black and white, there is always going to be color somewhere. For the second quiz I was also not surprised by the results of being 70% left brained because I like to be organized and I guess very symbolic which is what the test said. The 30% of the right side of my brain which I believe is also true is that it is mostly creative on that side. This side is used in the instincts of projects or while in Student Council so those test result were mostly likely spot on as well. Lastly, my Harry Potter sorting house quiz. I was very surprised of the results because I have done a couple of test which they have given me Gryffindor but this one which I did a couple of time said I was Ravenclaw. I'm not complaining because blue is my favorite color as well as the description of who a Ravenclaw is, for example: I am a very independent person in most to everything I do. Yes, I work with others everyday but I am usually on my own. These quizzes were very intriguing while doing so thank you for them.

  60. I am ESFP-A. I was surprised that I was an entertainer because although I am a very extroverted person and strive with other people I am very reserved behavior-wise which is the opposite of an entertainer. I also get very shy in the begging and have to warm up to the situation before I can really put myself out there. I am also more left-brained which is the analytic part of your brain. I am also in Hufflepuff.

  61. My personality test showed I am ISTJ-T which wasn't surprising to me at all. Over the past 17 years of my life I've come to know myself very well, especially during last school year. I've noticed things that make me uncomfortable, anxious, or just little things I like to do. For example, I'm a planner; I have the next 10 years of my life mapped out and that's what makes me feel secure because I know where I'm going in life. Of course, this plan is not set in stone and changes along with my passions, but once it does change I have to resubmit that piece into the big plan until its 100% complete again. This shows my thinker and judging side because I am organized and enjoy planning thoroughly, which also may have to do with my zodiac sign (virgo). In this test my insecurities became more apparent to me, but they're not something I didn't already know. I just choose not to focus my time on my insecurities and mistakes.

I am also more left brained (76%) which aligns with my personality test results. On the surface it seems like I'm really strict and organized with myself but in reality I just like having plans and goals and if they don't happen I don't get super anxious, maybe a little stressed out if I'm on a deadline but if I don't have obligations I tend to tap into the right side of my brain and relax more. My Harry Potter house is raven claw (84%) with Hufflepuff in second place at 78%.

  62. The results I got on the personality quiz were: INTP-T. This doesn't quite surprise me as reading through the description it did represent me (as vague as though may be). The thing that did surprise me was the that last year when I took this quiz I was an architect and this year I'm a logician. I'm not sure if this change is within my personality itself or within how I answered all of the questions.

As for the left and right brained test for the second year in a row as I was told that I was left brained! I've always thought of myself as a creative and right brained person but after round two of being told that's not so I may have to reevaluate my response.

As for what Harry Potter house I was sorted into I got Slytherin! This was not what I was expecting as I had tested on pottermore as a ravenclaw. I heard some of my classmates saying they had also been sorted slytherin though so perhaps this test may be a bit biased.

    2. Also - I get Gryf most everytime I test, but Ravenclaw is always my second house by a high percentage. I think it depends on the test and the questions.

  63. My personality type was the "Protagonist", which was ENFJ-A. I was surprised to learn that less than 2% of the population are protagonists. My 5 dominate traits were 64% Extraverted, 52% Intuituve, 54% Feeling, 65% judging and 82% assertive. I feel that all of my traits were pretty evenly split and I think this is because when I aproach a situation I try to make the best possible decision using all of my resources. However my assertive to turbelent ratio was the most drastic and I believe this is becaue I try not to waste time making decisions and have learned how to manage myself so that I dont get stressed doing so. Protagonists are charismatic leaders whose can influence and sympathize with others. They are very genuine, optimistic, great communicators and find joy in helping others. I do tend to see the good in everyone and I'm very good at assessing situations and helping others make decisions. My friends often come to me for advice on different things. I am always happy and I do feel like others notice. Because protagonists are visionaries they do well overcoming challenges. This aplies to me as I enjoy challenges as I know I can grow from the experince and I have confidence in my own abilities to do so. However, because I do see the good in everyone I can come across as gullible and be caught off guard by certain people either when they dont fit my expectations, dont listen to my advice or even when they are sarcastic as I usually take what there saying literally.LOL.
I am also 60% left-brained and 40% percent right-brained. I found this very surprising as I am a very creative and artistic person. I love art and I play many musical instruments so I assumed that I would be more right-brained. I believe this is because when it comes to decision-making I'm very analytical and I like things to make sense and be in order, even though I can express certain things creatively and enjoy using my imagination to build things. Maybe my right brain is an escape from my left side idk lol.
I was also 80% Ravenclaw which, again I was a little surprised at first. I assumed I would be more Gryffindor or Hufflepuff as I am adventurous, like to try new things, a hard worker and kind. But after taking these tests ive come to realize that I am curious about things, self-reliant and use my wit intellectually, to make decisions, and to (not out-think others) but assess where they're coming from and come up with the best response based on different factors.

  64. When I was taking my personality quiz I got put as an entertainer and I honestly wasn't too surprised with my results. I usually find myself at social events and hanging out with friends I always like to make others happy and somehow bring others up. The letters I got in the end of my quiz was ESFP-T.I found that my results had some things in common with my personality quiz I had taken last year. When I took the quiz to see if I was more left or right brain instinctive I was almost half on both. I am 54 percent right brain and 46 percent left brain. I could not remember what I had gotten from my last years quiz but I was a little surprised this time seeing that math, and order and things in that area I used when it came to those questions considering I dont really like mathematical things. Lasty when I took the Harry Potter quiz I got Griffendor. I haven't read any of the Harry Potter books and dont know too much regarding it but I did enjoy taking the test. I have always wanted to just because I was curios but never went and did it. I enjoyed the quizzes I took overall and enjoyed learning some new things about myself in the process.

  66. So, my results were interesting. Last year when I took the MBTI test I got INFP, “the Mediator”. I took the test again, trying to answer a little differently and I got ISFP, “The Adventurer”. This year I got INFP-T three times. I think ISFP was what I wanted to be rather who I really was. The result didn’t really surprise me. I already knew that I was an introvert. I enjoy my friends but sometimes I really need to recharge. I definitely feel like I am intuitive rather than observant. I’ve always been a daydreamer and my mom says I’m pretty imaginative. “Feeling” would for sure be a part of my personality. I’ve always been very emotional and let my emotions guide me. I’m definitely “Perceiving” because I’m pretty unorganized and I like to go with the flow rather than follow a strict plan. The left brain/right brain test didn’t surprise me. I got 53% left brain and 47% right brain. I’ve always been good at both the “arts” and math. I took the Hogwarts house test and I will always and forever be A HUFFLEPUFF! Like the rest of my house, I like I’m pretty chill and I’m loyal to my friends even when they hurt and betray me.

  67. For the first test my results were ESFP-T. I am actually super surprised when I first saw my results! I thought that this category was only for very extroverted personalities and honestly it is so much more than that! I agree with almost everything, I was not ready to read how spot on this test is. One thing that I found was most accurate was how these types of people tend to avoid conflict as much as possible and that is truly one of my worst habits. It also says how this type is very sensitive and I am a pretty sensitive person. My individual traits were Extroverted – 58%, Observant – 58%, Feeling – 72%, Prospecting – 57%, and Turbulent – 75%. I feel that everything was pretty accurate. I was expecting to get a more introverted personality because I do have introverted tendencies. However, I enjoy being around people and I do not enjoy being alone. I find I get bored easily. Sometimes I enjoy being alone and being in a quiet environment but for the most part I enjoy having company. The one thing I don't really agree with is being able to walk up to anyone and just strike up a conversation. If I am in an elevator with someone or in line with someone then sometimes I can start a conversation but for the most part I am not able to do that.
For the second test, I found that I was more of a left brain. 53% for left brain and 47% for right brain. I don't really agree with that because I tend to view myself as more of an artistic person and not so much as analytical. The results were pretty close so maybe I am a mix of both but for the most part I thought my results would be that I am more of a right brain.
For the Harry Potter test I found that I am more of a Gryffindor than anything else. I am not very surprised, I like the books and movies so I have taken tests like this before and I always get Gryffindor. I do find myself taking risks when I can and only in some aspects in my life. I am a little bit of a risk taker but it is something that I get better at every year. My second highest score was Hufflepuff and I am not surprised by that either. I find that I am very empathetic towards others and I think that I am pretty trustworthy. I always want to help anyone that is not happy and try to be loyal to all of my friends. I would say that I am a good mix of both houses. Overall I am happy with all of my results and these tests were very fun to take.

  68. My results were kind of interesting, I found them to be right because I understand that I am a lot of what my tests had to say. In the first test, I got ESFG-T, this was not at all surprising, because I am an extrovert and emotion is a key part of my personality. The second quiz said that I'm 54% right brain, I did not find this shocking I like to be creative and use A LOT of emotion daily. So far I find that these two quizzes we not at all shocking and show that I am an extrovert with instinct and feeling based opinions. Lastly, the test to see what Harry Potter house I was in is 81% Hufflepuff, I don't find that shocking because I feel like the traits connect to my personality. I feel as though I am very helpful and loyal to my friends that are in need at all for help. So, all in all, I feel like these three quizzes were super accurate and showed me (well I already knew the type of person I am) that I am super emotional, and that is not a bad thing I am glad that I think I character to my personality.

  69. My result for the first test was INTJ-T, an architect. This surprised me at first until I began to read the descriptions and characteristics and realized it fit me pretty well. I am definitely more introverted and really heavily on thinking skills. I like structure and for things to be done a certain way. I can also come off as cold to others which was a key descriptor of Architects seeing as we prefer to follow fact and structure over emotions. I found that I am slightly more left brained which did not come as a shock to me because as I have said I really heavily on fact and structure, as well as routine. On the other hand, I am pretty artsy and creative which would account for the 44% I am inclined towards right-brained. While I am artistic, I do mostly rely on facts when it comes to thinking and decision making. Finally, for the Harry Potter quiz, I m 77% Ravenclaw which also did not come as a surprise. I have always been in higher level classes and rely heavily on thinking skills. When reading the descriptors for the House I realized they it me perfectly. In conclusion, I have come to realize I am much more reliant on fact and structure than I previously realized. I am more inclined to make decisions with my head rather than my heart. I tend to come off as a cold person because of this. Possibly teh most important thing I realized after taking these tests is that as an Architect I am always trying to come up with ways to better myself. I am a perfectionist and am always doing this, but had never seen in it that light. I always found my need to perfect things to be bothersome, but through this process I have come to be somewhat proud of it.

  70. For my personalty results, I got ENFJ-T, which was not much of a surprise to me because I do find myself to be extroverted in someways but the result said I was also 40% introverted which made me realize that I was in a way. Emotion does influence many decisions I make and I am a major empathizer in my opinion so I understood why my results turned out the way they did. From the brain test, I discovered was 60% right brain oriented which was ot much of a surprise to me because I let emotions rule my life in some aspects and understand why the test results would come out that way. I am definitely more mathematical and analytical about situations so the left brain would not describe me well. For the Harry Potter test I scored Hufflepuff which also makes sense. The scores each seemed to accurately describe me.

  71. Hey everyone! Just for clarity: Left brain is more mathematical/logical/analytical. Right brain is more artistic, spatial, emotional. Several people had them switched in their minds. If one is dominant, that doesn't mean you don't really use the other side--we all use both. It just means one side is dominant when you approach tasks and problems to solve. I am 60% right brained, so that means it is my dominant side. However, I am TOTALLY an over-analyzer at times(left-brain active) (which can tug at my emotions, as I lean right brained) See how it all plays out? :)

  72. According to my test results, "the Protagonist" ENFJ-T. This stated that I am 94% extraverted. I think that is was very accurate because I love meeting new people and I am not shy while doing it. Along with this, it also says that social engagement is my strategy to things. Once again, I agree with this. I feel that I learn and grow better when I am physically around people or talking to people face to face. My test results also said that I am 61% feelings, which I am not surprised about. I tend to let my feelings sometimes control me but I also have strong feelings towards many people that I care about. Apparently, I am 92% turbulent, which surprised me. I do get anxious and stressed out in some situations but there are many where i don't. 92% to me seems like a stretch because I think that I can be calm in situations, where others might be not be able to control themselves.

  73. After taking the test, I found out that I am a Defender ISFJ-T. This means that I am almost 50/50 between all of my data being both extroverted and introverted. I believe this is accurate because I like to be around people and sometime I like to relax just by myself. I do agree with some of my strengths and weakness such as being supportive, loyal, and a hard worker, but some such as being someone who like to share their feelings is false. Every category such as mind, energy, nature, tactics, and identity were all at 50% meaning I can be both at the different times. My results are similar to Vin Diesel's results too.

After taking the test that indicated what side of the brain I use more, I tested 66% left brained and 34% right brained. I agree with these results but I believe that I am more left brained than just 66%. If I would give my estimate, I would say I am more 80% to 20%. I use my left side because I am very mathematical and like to do things in order do to simplicity.

For my results of what house I belong in for the Harry Potter quiz, I was 80% Hufflepuff, 78% Ravenclaw, 64% Gryffindor, and 20% Slytherin.

  74. I found I was an Entertainer ESFP-T. This is correct because I am extraverted and I am mainly observant. The second quiz stated that I am left right balanced which means I am 50% left and 50% right. I actually agree with these results because I feel like I do many things differently than I have before and it all depends on my mood and how I look at things. I can be digital and emotional, Im not 100% sure on to why I am both right and left brained though. Last off, my results for the Harry Potter quiz 88% hufflepuff, 74% gryffindor, 54% ravenclaw, and 24% slytherin.

  75. I found at that I was a debater, entp-a, which is only 1 letter off from entrepreneur, estp-a, which
is what I got last year. I find it interesting that of all of the letters to change it was my creativity and open mindedness that increased. I wasn't too surprised with my left/right brain results - 63% left/ 37% right, as I definitely see myself as a more logical and analytical person than creative. Finally, just as a confirmation to the first tests, I was 80% Ravenclaw for the Harry Potter test. While Ravenclaw is super boring in the movies, it absolutely makes the most sense for me.

  76. From the personality test I got "Entertainer". I am EOFP-T. I am surprised that I got extrovert because I always thought I was introverted. I am not surprised that I am observant and spend a lot of my energy focusing on current events or the past. The test to know which side of the brain is more dominant, I am almost half and half. I am 54% right brained. This isn't surprising because my creative side always shows a bit more than my rational side. I got sorted into Gryffindor. The cool house.

  77. The personality text I got Commander. I am ENTJ-T. I'm not surprised that I got extrovert because I've known that I am. For the left or right brain test I got more left brain but the two were almost balanced. I was a little surprised because I thought I was more right. I was sorted into Gryffindor. I was not surprised by this because of the way I think.

  78. I am an ENFP-T. Most of my results from the survey surprised me because they are not at all what I expected them to be. Once it showed I use feeling when making decisions much more than thinking I was surprised because I always believed I think decisions over way to much. When I saw that I am more extroverted than introverted I was very surprised because I had always believed that, though I enjoy hanging out with friends, that I was very introverted. My biggest surprise however was that I am 72% turbulent when I have always believed that I am much more assertive and a Leader. I am 63% left brained and 37% right brained. After taking the Harry Potter House quiz I was 84% in house Hufflepuff, the house of loyalty, hard working, acceptance, and fairness. You are amongst other Hufflepuffs such as: Tonks and Cedric Diggory.

  79. I am an ENFP-T. I don't quite remember what I got last year, and I am not sure how to find it, but I am pretty comfortable with my results. Interestingly enough, I am almost 50-50 on every single category, with the highest percentage for one that I got was 57%. I think that these results are pretty accurate for me. The only one I don't necessarily think is accurate, although they are very close, is that it put me as 55% intuitive, and 45% observant, and I would say I'm pretty observant and I notice and pay attention to small details. Furthermore, I am 51% right brained and 49% left brained, which I think is pretty accurate. I think both traits show through in my personality, with right brain attributes showing slightly more in certain situations. Finally, the Harry Potter house I was sorted into is Slytherin. I was 80% Slytherin, 77% Gryffindor, 40% Ravenclaw and 20% Hufflepuff. I think, once again, these results were very accurate, and, although Slytherin gets a bad rap, there are deeper feelings and thoughts that come to a Slytherin, even when they come off as conniving or manipulative.

  80. I got ENFP-T, due to my extroversion and enthusiasm for life and it's possibilities. I've always been an extrovert, due to how expressive and outgoing I tend to be. I am also gryfendor on the quiz, due to my traits of courage, bravery, and daring nature, which I truly agree with. I'm always one to jump onto a challenge and dare myself to defy my own norms. I think this also contributes to my love for the military and my military future. This trait can also be linked to recklessness, but I trust myself to never advance to that degree.

  81. My result was ISTJ-T. This is because I am more of an introverted, self conscious person. I love to plan my life ahead and when I fail to follow the plan, I feel behind and struggle to catch up. During the times where I need to make a decision, first I think with my heart and I believe that's where feeling part of me comes out (I had 51% thinking and 49% feeling) I acknowledge it, but I think about every outcome that might happen. In the end, I think with my head rather than my emotions. I would rather be alone than having to entertain other people especially people I do not know well or have any significant connection with. I believe "logistician" fits my personality well.

My result is more left side brain. I am more analytical. I was 66% left brain and 34% right brain. I believe this is because I am more rational and analytical. These results directly go with my personality test. I believe I am about 1/3 right brained because I do enjoy music a lot and I believe that has to do with my horoscope.
